Of those who said they would support Trump, 37 percent said they \u201cdefinitely\u201d would, while 35 percent said the same for Biden. Seven percent, overall, remain undecided, which is larger than Trump\u2019s 5-point lead.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Trump takes an even greater lead when Biden is replaced with Vice President Kamala Harris, leading her 51 percent to 40 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, the survey asked the same question with a potential rematch for Trump and Hillary Clinton. In that scenario, Trump trounces Clinton by double digits, 51 percent to 41 percent.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<div id=\"attachment_5231632\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5231632\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/AP_16284063024115.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton walks past Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump during the second presidential debate. (AP Photo\/John Locher)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">The survey comes as Biden\u2019s approval&nbsp;ratings&nbsp;continue to sour one year into&nbsp;his&nbsp;presidency. Friday\u2019s RealClearPolitics average showed Biden\u2019s job&nbsp;<\/span>approval tanking even further, with a net negative of -14.8 percent \u2014 55.3 percent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/epolls\/other\/president-biden-job-approval-7320.html\">approving<\/a> and 40.5 percent disapproving.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">Notably, Biden&nbsp;reached his first year in office while failing to achieve many of his&nbsp;grandiose&nbsp;promises,&nbsp;including to shut down the&nbsp;Chinese coronavirus. What is more, he originally pitched \u201cjust\u201d 100 days of masking to the American people, but he&nbsp;continues to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/01\/20\/broken-promises-americans-forced-wear-masks-planes-one-year-bidens-presidency\/\">urge<\/a> them to do so, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/01\/20\/broken-promises-one-year-later-biden-still-pushes-masks-americans\/\">no clear end<\/a> in sight.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs I\u2019ve said in the last two years: Please wear a mask. If you\u2019re in a \u2014 you know, I think it is part of your patriotic duty. It\u2019s not that comfortable. It\u2019s a pain in the neck,\u201d Biden said during a speech last week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I\u2019ve taken every action I can as president to require people to wear masks in federal buildings and on airplanes and trains, because they\u2019re inter- \u2014 they cross state lines,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, Americans\u2019 opinions on Biden\u2019s handling of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic began to sour particularly after his announcement of the&nbsp;Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) vaccine mandate in September, which the Supreme Court struck down this month.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, most Americans <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/01\/20\/poll-majority-americans-say-america-wrong-track-one-year-bidens-presidency\/\">say<\/a> America is on the&nbsp;\u201cwrong track\u201d one year into Biden\u2019s presidency, an <em>Economist<\/em>\/YouGov survey released this week found.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Former President Donald Trump leads President Joe Biden in a hypothetical 2024 rematch, a\u00a0McLaughlin &#038; Associates survey released this week found.
