We\u2019re just thankful that she stopped when she did to make sure that everything is okay with him and us,\u201d Nettles stated.<\/p>\n<p>His family said he received a few stitches after the incident.<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>On Wednesday, he got a huge surprise and a very special welcome home.&nbsp;He wore his Superman costume and was joined by some local heroes to celebrate his bravery.<\/p>\n<p>Mobile Fire-Rescue <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MobileFireRescue\">came<\/a> by to greet him, and the little boy relished every moment.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>The group gave him a tour of the fire truck, and he also enjoyed the view from the driver\u2019s seat.<\/p>\n<p>Video footage of the event <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=t3nYshwul0Y\">featured<\/a> a home decorated with a banner that read, \u201cKayden Is Our Hero\u201d in colorful letters.<\/p>\n<p>Reid also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/StephenMoodyFOX10\/posts\/115753047649125\">showed<\/a> off his muscles for the cameras during his tour of the fire truck:<\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-post\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/StephenMoodyFOX10\/posts\/115753047649125\" data-width=\"640\">\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/graph.facebook.com\/110661871491576\/posts\/115753047649125\/\" class=\"fb-xfbml-parse-ignore\">\n<p>Meet Kayden.
