That&#8217;s the argument we&#8217;re making this week at TGS. capital, blasted the \u201cdelegitimization of law enforcement\u201d in areas that need it most.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThe successful delegitimization of law enforcement in the places where poor black people are being victimized daily has cost thousands of lives and has been a monumental political crime,\u201d he said. \u201cThat\u2019s the argument we\u2019re making this week at TGS.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>He then reiterated the approach has resulted in \u201cthousands\u201d of deaths.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThe attack on cops and on policing, the delegitimation of the agents of the state charged with the unenviable responsibility of maintaining order in our metropolises, has cost thousands of lives,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Loury blamed Black Lives Matter activists as well as their media enablers for the \u201cbuckets of blood\u201d spilled as a result.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThe people who have undertaken and fomented this attack from the Black Lives Matter activists to their handmaidens in editorial rooms all over this country have buckets of blood on their hands,\u201d he said.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThey hide behind the consensus endorsed by everybody from the human resource department assistant or vice president at a Fortune 500 company to a university president,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>He also blasted the \u201cideological cover\u201d given to disempowering law and order which has resulted in scores of fatal casualties.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWe\u2019ve given ideological cover to this crime: the delegitimation of the maintenance of order in places where black people live has cost thousands of lives, and it\u2019s a political crime.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Loury\u2019s remarks come as crime has <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/01\/04\/white-house-boasts-of-joe-bidens-first-year-gun-controls-as-12-cities-broke-homicide-records\/\"><span>surged<\/span><\/a><span> nationwide after progressives campaigned endlessly against police, leading to eroded confidence in law enforcement, sunken police morale, and an officer exodus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Last month it was <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tech\/2021\/12\/24\/black-lives-matter-activists-tells-students-crime-is-made-up-black-people-are-enslaved-when-they-go-to-jail\/\"><span>revealed<\/span><\/a><span> that BLM activists gave a talk to over 150 people, telling students that \u201ccrime is made up\u201d and black people are \u201censlaved\u201d when they are sent to jail, among other things.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In June, in the wake of the previous summer\u2019s Black Lives Matter riots and a continuing crime wave across America\u2019s big cities, nearly half of voters <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/06\/24\/poll-nearly-half-voters-think-anti-police-protests-hurt-public-safety\/\"><span>expressed their belief<\/span><\/a><span> that anti-police protests hurt public safety.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In May, <\/span><i><span>Breitbart News<\/span><\/i> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/entertainment\/2021\/05\/25\/report-127-tv-episodes-pushed-black-lives-matter-defund-the-police-in-year-since-george-floyds-death\/\"><span>reported<\/span><\/a><span> that since the death of George Floyd, Hollywood has devoted significant air time to promoting far-left racial ideologies, with one report finding that 127 TV episodes have pushed Black Lives Matter,
