The incredibly expressive duo recently got engaged. Then they sealed the deal by drinking each other\u2019s blood. And now, MGK has revealed that he designed Fox\u2019s engagement ring to cause her physical pain.<\/p>\n<p>The rapper, whose real name is Colson Baker, teamed up with jewelry designer Stephen Webster to create the one-of-a-kind jewelry piece. MGK spoke with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vogue.com.\/article\/machine-gun-kelly-megan-fox-dolce-gabbana-fall-2022-menswear\">Vogue<\/a> about his inspiration for the ring.<\/p>\n<p>He described choosing a \u201cthoroughbred Colombian emerald\u201d and diamond engagement ring which was \u201cjust carved into the teardrop, straight out of the mine.\u201d And then he picked a very special construction.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe concept is that the ring can come apart to make two rings. When it\u2019s together, it\u2019s held in place by a magnet.\u201d Kelly said. \u201cSo you see how it snaps together? And then it forms an obscure heart. And you see this right here? The bands are actually thorns. So if she tries to take it off, it hurts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Later in the interview, the rapper joked, \u201cLove is pain!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jewelry designer Webster spoke with <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/style\/megan-fox-machine-gun-kelly-engagement-ring-designer-shares-details\/\">People<\/a> about the finished look, which he called, \u201cquite extraordinary.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy the use of magnets buried within the gold, [the rings] are attracted to each other and sit together perfectly on the finger,\u201d Webster said. \u201c[It\u2019s] a detail that is both modern and quite extraordinary.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The designer didn\u2019t reveal the cost of the piece, but jewelry experts estimated that it could be worth around $500,000.<\/p>\n<p>MGK previously shared the engagement announcement on social media. \u201cBeneath the same branches we fell in love under, [I] brought her back to ask her to marry me,\u201d he wrote.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know tradition is one ring, but [I] designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The couple met on the set of their movie \u201cMidnight in the Switchgrass,\u201d which began filming in March 2020. They fell in love quickly and became Instagram official in July 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Fox discussed how she had a feeling that filming with MGK would <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/and-then-we-drank-each-others-blood-megan-fox-and-machine-gun-kelly-get-engaged-and-celebrate-with-bodily-fluid-swap\">change her life<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was like, \u2018Who is going to play this role?\u2019 And [director Randall Emmett] was like, \u2018Oh, we just got Machine Gun Kelly,\u2019 and immediately, I was like, \u2018Uh oh,\u2019\u201d Fox explained during a podcast interview.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause I knew, I could feel that some wild s*** was going to happen to me from that meeting but I wasn\u2019t yet sure what. I just felt it like, deep in my soul\u2014that something was going to come from that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Before going all in with Baker, Fox was married to fellow actor Brian Austin Green. The pair have three children together.
