FedEx is&nbsp;<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.portofhueneme.org\/charter-with-fedex-01-13-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">offering<\/a>&nbsp;three charter vessels that have \u201ca capacity of 300 53-foot containers per sailing.\u201d The first vessel is scheduled to arrive at the end of the month.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Last November, close to 160 ships were&nbsp;<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/05\/backlog-report-nearly-160-ships-waiting-outside-la-ports-unload-goods\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stuck<\/a>&nbsp;outside the Los Angeles and Long Beach ports and could not unload goods. The port backlog is likely the main driver in President Joe Biden\u2019s supply chain&nbsp;<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/10\/14\/report-supply-chain-crisis-impacting-grocers-shelves-were-bare-and-nearly-empty\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">crisis<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>FedEx ships will dock at a U.S. Navy terminal once they arrive from China in an agreement between port authorities and the United States Navy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur long-standing joint use agreement with Naval Base Ventura County is the foundation of a dynamic partnership used to create solutions like these while increasing operational efficiency in the maritime industry\u201d,&nbsp;<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.portofhueneme.org\/charter-with-fedex-01-13-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>&nbsp;Commissioner Jason T. Hodge, President of the Oxnard Harbor District that owns the Port of Hueneme.<\/p>\n<p>According to FedEx, its service will&nbsp;<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/corner\/fedex-offering-congestion-bypass-service-around-l-a-ports\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">allow<\/a>&nbsp;shippers to cut 20 days worth of transit time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cL.A. can be seen as the heart of the supply chain to a certain extent.
