He was seen Jan. 17 on a movie set in Hawaii.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The tweet features a link to an <a href=\"https:\/\/notallowedto.com\/adam-sandler-dead\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">article<\/a> from \u201cnotallowedto.com\u201d claiming that Sandler was found dead in his home of an apparent suicide. The article does not specify when he was found but includes an alleged quote from an unidentified publicist of his claiming that he had been \u201cbattling severe depression\u201d at the time.<\/p>\n<p>The rumors of Sandler\u2019s death are false. There are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=adam+sandler+dead&amp;rlz=1C1VDKB_enUS988US988&amp;oq=adam+sandler+dead&amp;aqs=chrome.0.69i59j46i131i433i512j0i512l3j69i60l2j69i61.2337j0j7&amp;sourceid=chrome&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;safe=active&amp;ssui=on\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">no confirmed<\/a> reports from any credible media sources stating that the actor, who is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/entertainment\/adam-sandler-jennifer-aniston-murder-mystery-2-filming-set\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">actually 55<\/a>, was found dead. Sandler was spotted on the set of the movie \u201cMurder Mystery 2\u201d in Hawaii Jan. 17, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/entertainment\/adam-sandler-jennifer-aniston-murder-mystery-2-filming-set\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fox News<\/a> reported, five days after the rumor of his death began to circulate. Prior to that, Sandler <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AdamSandler\/status\/1480364490084401153\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">posted<\/a> a Jan. 9 tribute on social media to the late comedian and actor Bob Saget.<\/p>\n<p>The rumor of Sandler\u2019s death may be linked to a \u201cbizarre trend\u201d on social media in which users tell people the actor has died while filming their reactions, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-sun.com\/entertainment\/4445264\/why-is-adam-sandler-dead-trending\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Sun<\/a> reported. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2020\/09\/29\/fact-check-photo-adam-sandler-sign-voting-2020\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Does This Photo Show Adam Sandler Holding A Sign About Voting In The 2020 Election?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time a famous actor has been the subject of a death hoax.
