Where to lay fault? <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/A8C2oj0WNn\">pic.twitter.com\/A8C2oj0WNn<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Todd Bensman (@BensmanTodd) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BensmanTodd\/status\/1482714397881647110?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 16, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThat guy died for no other reason than [Biden and Mayorkas] opened the border\u2026 [Without the U.S. border welcome] he\u2019d be alive today \u2014 in Senegal \u2014 but he\u2019d be alive,\u201d Bensman said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThey said they were coming because of Joe Biden,\u201d Bensman said, adding that Biden and his deputies \u201care absolutely culpable for the deaths and killings, and they\u2019re doing it under the guise that their decisions are rooted in humanitarian impulses.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Darien Gap is a rough trail over the mountains between Columbia and Panama. Many people \u2014 especially women \u2014 die along the trail.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_18241434\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Migrants.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18241434\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Migrants.jpeg\" alt=\"Migrants, most from Haiti, pause during a rest on their trek through the infamous Darien Gap on their journey towards the United States on October 05, 2021 near Acandi, Colombia. The passage through the mountainous rainforest can take up to a week and is considered the most dangerous stretch for migrants traveling from South America to the U.S. During the trip, torrential downpours lead to sudden river floodings, often resulting in migrant drownings along the way. Reports of robberies and rapes from armed gangs are common, especially after migrants pass the remote mountain border crossing from Colombia into Panama. More than 70,000 migrants have traveled through the Darien Gap this year, according to Panamanian authorities. Most of the migrants in recent months have been Haitians, many of whom had been living in Chile and Brazil since the 2010 Haitian earthquake. The Darien Gap is the 66-mile stretch of rainforest between North and South America where the Panamerican Highway was never completed due to severe terrain, enormous cost, and myriad environmental concerns. (John Moore\/Getty)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cThere are more vultures out there than I\u2019ve seen in anywhere in the world,\u201d journalist Michael Yon told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/12\/08\/watch-migration-expert-describes-mass-deaths-on-joe-bidens-trail-of-tears\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a December 7 meeting<\/a> arranged by the Center for Immigration Studies. He continued:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>We think about 10 percent of the people that go through [the Darien Gap jungle] die. There\u2019s no way for us to know the true numbers, because we don\u2019t know how many leave [Columbia] and we don\u2019t know how many actually come out through [into Panama].<\/p>\n<p>But after being down there for months, and interviewing just tons of people \u2014 hundreds \u2014 I\u2019m going to guess 10 percent die out there. And if 100,000 people came through this year, that\u2019s 10,000 people [dead].<\/p>\n<p>So you can imagine how much those vultures have to eat. And I\u2019m not sure if that\u2019s why the vultures are there. On January 5, Breitbart News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/border\/2022\/01\/05\/2021-report-shows-migrants-missing-dead-along-southwest-border-hit-all-time-high\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The International Organization for Migration\u2019s Missing Migrant Program&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/missingmigrants.iom.int\/region\/americas?region_incident=All&amp;route=3936\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">reports<\/a>&nbsp;that 658 migrants are known to have died or gone missing in the U.S.-Mexico Border region during 2021. This is up from 476 (37 percent) during the final year of the Trump administration.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Progressives are willing to record and lament some of the deaths and violence \u2014 but only when they can shift the blame from their loose-border policies to the roughly 250 million Americans who wish to preserve their own country from many millions of poor migrants.<\/p>\n<p>For example, WOLA, a pro-migration group, issued a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wola.org\/analysis\/bidens-first-year-policies-toward-latin-america\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">January 18 report<\/a>&nbsp;on Biden\u2019s policies that ignored the deaths in the Darien Gap. Instead, it complained about \u201cU.S. border law enforcement agencies\u2019 culture of tolerating and normalizing cruel behavior \u2026&nbsp;&nbsp;amid grisly reports of&nbsp;migrants maimed or killed after falling off the [Trumb border wall] structure.\u2019<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Similarly,&nbsp;<em>The New Yorke<\/em>r posted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/news\/dispatch\/the-continued-calamity-at-the-border?utm_source=twitter&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=onsite-share&amp;utm_brand=the-new-yorker&amp;utm_social-type=earned\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a January 18 article<\/a>&nbsp;that blames President Donald Trump\u2019s popular border barriers for the harm done to migrants on their trek to the U.S. border, saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Kidnappings were recurrent at the [migrant] camp [in Mexico]. Men preyed on young girls, promising to give them food if they followed them to an adjacent street. A local N.G.O. has recorded at least twenty instances of rape in recent months.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The article described the claimed dangers as it credulously reported on one migrant named Dolores who insisted that criminal gangs in El Salvador extorted money from her until she and her daughter left to join her husband and two sons already living illegally in the United States.&nbsp;But the article noted that her husband:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u2026 who was already living in Virginia with their two sons, helped make last-minute arrangements [witth the for-hire coyotes]. Dolores and Rosalba, who asked that their names be changed, paid more than seven thousand dollars to traffickers, who smuggled them across the border; ending up in Reynosa was never part of the plan. Dolores was unaware that northeastern Mexico was one of the country\u2019s most dangerous regions\u2014it was her first time travelling outside El Salvador. But that reality quickly became apparent to her and Rosalba \u2026<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>So Dolores simply sent her daughter over the border via the border-bypass route \u2014 the \u201cUnaccompanied Alien Child\u201d program \u2014 which allows Biden\u2019s deputies to welcome and relay the child to her father, gratis:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote>\n<p>In November, she considered having Rosalba cross the river on her own, hoping that she would be reunited with her father \u2026&nbsp; Some families who could still afford a smuggler were sending children across the border alone as a last resort. \u201cShe was detained by Border Patrol, but, thank God, she is already there,\u201d Dolores said, with mixed relief.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The article did not mention if the gang extortion sought to extract dollar payments from the father\u2019s earnings in the United States \u2014 which is enabled by progressives\u2019 opposition to the deportation of illegal migrants.<\/p>\n<p>Deep in the <em>New Yorker<\/em> article, the reporter also acknowledged that the Biden administration triggered the brutality.<\/p>\n<p>The article said that \u201ca&nbsp;senior official who served in the Biden Administration\u201d told her that Mexican officials warned Biden\u2019s reckless deputies to be careful:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>One of the things that they had consistently told us\u2014when they saw that Biden had won [the 2020 election], and obviously saw that there was likely going to be a reversal of some, if not many, of the policies\u2014was, \u2018Go slow.\u2019 Because they feared what ultimately ended up happening, which was a large rush of people through their country to reach the United States.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The southern Mexico presence of so many mainly economic US-bound immigrants from Africa demonstrates just how far CREDIBLE word has spread that Joe Biden significantly eased and rewarded illegal border entries. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/JBHBSmrTcb\">pic.twitter.com\/JBHBSmrTcb<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Todd Bensman (@BensmanTodd) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BensmanTodd\/status\/1483551566678441985?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 18, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Biden\u2019s deputies and their establishment media allies have ignored the deaths caused by their favored policies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJustice is our priority,\u201d Mayorkas&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=A-ZUvKzmn_I\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">declared<\/a> in a November hearing, adding, \u201cThat includes securing our border and providing relief to those [migrants] who qualify for it under our laws.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The migrants are being rational as they use Mayorkas\u2019 welcome as they try to leap from their poor, crowded, corrupt, and backward home countries into the efficient and wealthy United States.<\/p>\n<p>Yet Americans are also being rational when they demand the federal government enforce the laws and exclude waves of poor migrants from swamping their labor markets, housing markets, schools, and politics.<\/p>\n<p>But multiple administrations have undermined Americans\u2019 border laws since the 1980s because they wanted to extract people from poor countries to serve U.S. investors as cheap workers, government-aided consumers, and high-density renters in the U.S. economy.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_18384642\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Migrants-1.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18384642\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Migrants-1.jpeg\" alt=\"Migrants who are part of a caravan heading north, cheer after passing a checkpoint along the Huehuetan highway, Chiapas state, Mexico, September 4, 2021. target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">productivity<\/a>, shifts <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/09\/17\/amnesty-bill-to-spike-americans-housing-costs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wealth from children<\/a> to parents, &nbsp;and widens the regional wealth&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/03\/30\/harvard-harris-poll-5-in-6-americans-want-to-end-immigration-from-mexico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wide<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/01\/14\/poll-americans-want-companies-hire-americans-before-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">variety<\/a>&nbsp;of
