He has since endured a lengthy court battle.<\/p>\n<div id=\"tncms-region-article_instory_top\" class=\"tncms-region hidden-print\">\n<div id=\"tncms-block-681666\" class=\"tncms-block\">\n<p>\u201cInstead of taking personal responsibility and personal accountability for their conduct, they abused the court system by denying that they did anything wrong,\u201d Greer asserted.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-post\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/WCJB20\/photos\/a.10150336910082749\/10158868977957749\/\" data-width=\"640\">\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/WCJB20\/photos\/a.10150336910082749\/10158868977957749\/?type=3\" class=\"fb-xfbml-parse-ignore\">\n<p>\u201cHe has a lifetime of healthcare needs facing him in the future,\u201d attorney Thomas Greer said.<\/p>\n<p>Posted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/112109212748\">WCJB TV20 News<\/a> on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/WCJB20\/photos\/a.10150336910082749\/10158868977957749\/?type=3\">Tuesday, January 18, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The lawsuit awarded the man $4.3 million to assist with damage that still affects his throat and lungs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a relief to him because he knew he was believed,\u201d Greer noted.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>However, Cronnon will apparently not receive funds close to the amount.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is an unfair law that only affects people who are seriously injured, and he will not even receive what he is entitled to,\u201d Greer explained.<\/p>\n<p>State lawmakers set up a cap regarding economic damages in lawsuits in 2011, and it limits Cronnon to $75,000, although he suffers extensive physical issues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe worked for three years after this. He\u2019s a hard worker.
