No other developed nation looks like this.   <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/PUkyVGTIFI\">pic.twitter.com\/PUkyVGTIFI<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ian Miles Cheong (@stillgray) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/stillgray\/status\/1482560301279375360?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 16, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Bloomberg News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/newsletters\/2022-01-17\/supply-chain-latest-union-pacific-battles-rail-freight-theft-in-l-a\">reported<\/a> Monday that Union Pacific is now considering avoiding Los Angeles County altogether in its efforts to ship goods across the country, and wrote a letter to left-wing, George Soros-backed District Attorney George Gasc\u00e9on demanding better law enforcement.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, Secretary Buttigieg <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/01\/11\/l-a-mayor-eric-garcetti-gushes-pete-buttigieg-saved-christmas\/\">appeared<\/a> in Los Angeles to claim credit for what he claimed were improvements to the supply chain crisis at the ports. Mayor Eric Garcetti <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/01\/11\/l-a-mayor-eric-garcetti-gushes-pete-buttigieg-saved-christmas\/\">praised<\/a> Buttigieg, claiming that he \u201csaved Christmas,\u201d though the crisis continues.<\/p>\n<p>No other mentions of the looting appear on the Department of Transportation website, nor on Buttigieg\u2019s Twitter feed.<\/p>\n<p>Buttigieg was criticized last year for taking two months\u2019 parental leave without notice as cargo traffic piled up at the nation\u2019s ports.<\/p>\n<p><em>Joel B.
