Joe Manchin (D-WV) tanked Biden\u2019s agenda over fears of 40-year high inflation and expanding the administrative state.<\/p>\n<p>Embattled Democrat House members told the <em>Post<\/em> they are skeptical of the tactic but still need the federal government to spend money in their districts.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The Democrats are going to have a hard time in the 2022 midterm elections, trying to protect their majority, according to a report. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/XEKVgv0gfF\">https:\/\/t.co\/XEKVgv0gfF<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breitbart News (@BreitbartNews) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartNews\/status\/1438537432740372483?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 16, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"\">\n<div>\n<p class=\"font-copy font--article-body gray-darkest ma-0 pb-md\">\u201cWhat I don\u2019t want to do is have the Democratic caucus just beat their heads against the wall for months. Susan Wild&nbsp;(D-PA), who fears she may lose her seat. \u201cIf there is still hope for Manchin to agree, we need to figure out when that\u2019s going to be and what we are doing if he doesn\u2019t meet that deadline because in the past, he hasn\u2019t. What\u2019s our next plan?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Cindy Axne (D-IA), who is also in a swing district, described the big money strategy as a good one for her electoral hopes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-copy font--article-body gray-darkest ma-0 pb-md\">\u201cThese aren\u2019t folks who sat in a bunch of corporate suites most of the time,\u201d she said of her constituents. \u201cThese are hard-working Americans who need a bit of a break so they can give their family a chance and step up, and I hope that\u2019s the message Sen. Manchin hears.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and&nbsp;Rep. The passage of the package subsequently fueled unemployment, inflation, and supply chain woes.<\/p>\n<p>Voters are taking notice of the poor economy. On Monday, a Gallup poll <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/01\/17\/nolte-country-moved-14-points-towards-gop-in-2021\/\">indicated<\/a> the voters are identifying with the GOP over the Democrat Party by 14 points:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>At the beginning of 2021, 49 percent of the country identified as Democrats, while 40 percent said they were Republicans. At the end of 2021, 47 percent said they were Republicans, and only 42 percent said Democrat.
