They know that President Joe Biden\u2019s pro-migration border chief \u2014 Alejandro Mayorkas \u2014 is quietly allowing catch-and-release for many, although not all, of the global migrants who arrive at the U.S. border.<\/p>\n<p>Once released in the United States, the migrants can take jobs to pay their huge debts to smugglers \u2014 and also to encourage more of their families and friends to make the deadly trip, Bensman said, adding:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>It\u2019s very simple: if there is a high chance your smuggling investment will yield a return \u2014 meaning you get in and work, legally or not, \u2014 you\u2019ll come. For example, migrants from Nigeria must pay a minimum of $5,000 to get into South America, not counting all their other survival costs, he said. \u201cThat\u2019s lifetime-sized fortune,\u201d for some, he added.<\/p>\n<p>The pro-American policy helped Americans \u2014 especially poor Americans \u2014 get <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/12\/20\/washington-post-low-wage-employers-struggle-after-cheap-labor-bubble\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">jobs and better wages<\/a> amid the coronavirus crash.<\/p>\n<p>But Biden\u2019s deputies admitted roughly 1.5 million legal and illegal migrants in 2021 as they try to reinflate the cheap-labor bubble that has helped business investors since the bip[atisan 1990 immigration-expansion act.<\/p>\n<p>The United Nations reveals little about its spending, and the U.S. Department of State reveals little about its aid to the UN\u2019s various groups, including the International Organization for Migration.<\/p>\n<p>In December, Bensman described his examination of the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/12\/16\/united-nations-grantee-uses-u-s-tax-dollars-to-fund-illegal-immigration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UN\u2019s funding system<\/a> in an article for TheFederalist.com:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The public reporting as to how much the United States, through the State Department, gives IOM and how many got it is opaque at best. President Joe Biden\u2019s 2022 budget calls for $10 billion in humanitarian assistance \u201cto support vulnerable people abroad.\u201d But there\u2019s no detailed breakout.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2017-2021.state.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/FY-2019-PRM-Summary-of-Major-Activities-Year-In-Review.pdf\">A Fiscal Year 2019 summary<\/a>&nbsp;(starting page 37) by the State Department\u2019s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM), which provides U.S. funding to the IOM and many other United Nations agencies, offers one clue of the pre-expansion levels. IOM spent more than $60 million in 2019 for activities in the northern part of South America, Central America, and Mexico during the so-called \u201ccaravan migrant crisis\u201d earlier that year, the fiscal year report said.<\/p>\n<p>State Department-funneled money helped IOM provide 29,000 people in the Western Hemisphere with cash and voucher assistance and supported 75 shelter waystations,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/2017-2021.state.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/FY-2019-PRM-Summary-of-Major-Activities-Year-In-Review.pdf\">the State Department report states on page 42<\/a>, much like the one I visited in Reynosa. Along the northern border of Mexico in July 2019, at the height of a \u201ccaravan\u201d crisis, the IOM provided 600 beds and essential items to the Mexican government and helped it expand existing shelters and build new ones to accommodate the \u201casylum seekers.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The migrants are rational as they try to leap from their poor, crowded, corrupt, and backward home countries into the efficient and wealthy United States.<\/p>\n<p>But Americans are also rational in excluding waves of migrants from swamping their labor markets, housing markets, schools, and ballots.<\/p>\n<p>Migration moves money, and since at least 1990, the federal government has tried to extract people from poor countries so they can serve U.S. investors as cheap workers, government-aided consumers, and high-density renters in the U.S. economy.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_18891442\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GettyImages-1230604918.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18891442\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GettyImages-1230604918.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Truckers serve as transportation for the migrants who go in the caravan, facilitating their arrival at the Honduran border with Guatemala and thus being able to reach the United States on January 14, 2021 in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/12\/20\/washington-post-low-wage-employers-struggle-after-cheap-labor-bubble\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">economic strategy<\/a>&nbsp;has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/20\/gop-donors-economist-immigration-can-offset-foreign-trade-risks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">no stopping point<\/a>, and it is harmful to ordinary Americans: It cuts their&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/03\/12\/bloomberg-opts-h1bs-take-two-three-new-tech-jobs-each-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">career<\/a>&nbsp;opportunities and their&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/04\/08\/elite-academics-hide-amnesty-wage-pain-americans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wages<\/a>&nbsp;while it also raises their&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/06\/16\/new-yorks-mayoral-rivals-vow-cheap-housing-plus-more-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">housing costs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The strategy also curbs Americans\u2019&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2020\/07\/11\/president-trump-wins-big-on-secret-meatpacking-robots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">productivity<\/a>, shrinks their political&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com+%22john+binder%22+%22demographic+change%22&amp;rlz=1C5CHFA_enUS946US946&amp;oq=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com+%22john+binder%22+%22demographic+change%22&amp;aqs=chrome..69i57j69i58.10228j0j4&amp;sourceid=chrome&amp;ie=UTF-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">clout<\/a>, and widens the regional wealth&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/08\/13\/zuckerbergs-data-says-amnesty-gives-economic-windfall-coastal-democratic-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gaps<\/a>&nbsp;between the Democrats\u2019 coastal states and the GOP\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/01\/10\/former-steeltown-seeks-afghans-to-replace-americans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">heartland states<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The economic policy&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/01\/survey-elite-imposed-migration-is-transforming-national-politics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">radicalizes<\/a>&nbsp;Americans\u2019 democratic, compromise-promoting civic&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/search\/?s=%22white+supremacy%22#gsc.tab=0&amp;gsc.q=%22white%20supremacy%22&amp;gsc.page=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">culture<\/a>, and allows wealthy elites to ignore&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Diseases_of_despair\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">despairing Americans<\/a>&nbsp;at the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/03\/30\/harvard-harris-poll-5-in-6-americans-want-to-end-immigration-from-mexico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wide<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/01\/14\/poll-americans-want-companies-hire-americans-before-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">variety<\/a>&nbsp;of little-publicized&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/04\/13\/ipsos-poll-nearly-8-in-10-americans-want-immigration-moratorium-for-u-s\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">polls<\/a>&nbsp;do&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2019\/08\/05\/poll-swing-voters-hugely-oppose-2020-democrats-promising-more-immigration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">show<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2020\/04\/24\/poll-trumps-opponents-applaud-his-jobs-for-americans-immigration-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">deep<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2017\/01\/31\/poll-shows-public-support-trump-migration-poicy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">broad<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2020\/05\/28\/business-poll-backfires-shows-public-wants-less-migration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">opposition<\/a>&nbsp;to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/11\/16\/exit-polls-3-in-4-voters-want-less-immigration-during-and-after-pandemic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">labor migration<\/a>&nbsp;and the inflow of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2020\/08\/06\/ipsos-poll-public-opposes-migrant-workers-by-21\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">temporary<\/a>&nbsp;contract workers&nbsp;into jobs sought by young U.S. graduates.<\/p>\n<p>The&nbsp;<a
