(Murder is a Major Issue),\u201d was killed in a drive-by shooting in Miami on Friday night.<\/p>\n<p>Wavy Navy Pooh, whose real name was&nbsp;Shandler Beaubien,&nbsp;was ambushed and shot to death while in a car driving in the Miami-area neighborhood of West Kendall, according to multiple law-enforcement sources who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.miamiherald.com\/news\/local\/crime\/article257349812.html\">spoke<\/a> to the <em>Miami Herald<\/em>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>In 2020, the&nbsp;28-year-old rapper had released a song, titled, \u201cM.I.A.M.I. (Murder is a Major Issue),\u201d which lamented crime in the city.<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>Police reportedly said that Beaubien was stopped at an intersection when someone in a&nbsp;Lexus&nbsp;approached him from the driver\u2019s side and opened fire \u2014&nbsp;fatally shooting him \u2014 before fleeing the scene.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>A 1-year-old boy, 5-year-old boy, and adult woman were also in the rapper\u2019s vehicle, but were unharmed.
