One of CAIR\u2019s officials recently blasted Jewish organizations and \u201cZionist\u201d synagogues, whom she described as \u201cenemies\u201d and accused of betrayal, supporting human rights violations, and spreading Islamophobia. We need to pay attention to the Jewish Federation. We need to pay attention to the Zionist synagogues. We need to pay attention to the Hillel chapters on our campuses,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cBecause just because they\u2019re your friend today doesn\u2019t mean that they have your back when it comes to human rights,\u201d she added.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>Speaking against \u201cZionists,\u201d a term historically used as a euphemism for \u201cJews\u201d to avoid charges of antisemitism, Billoo called to \u201coppose the vehement fascists\u201d as well as the \u201cpolite Zionists, too,\u201d claiming they \u201care not your friends.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThey will not be there for you when you need them,\u201d she said. \u201cThey will take your friendship and throw your Palestinian brothers and sisters under the bus.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>She then ridiculed the notion of friendly relations with such \u201cZionists.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>\u201c\u2018Oh, you get along because you\u2019re all in Girl Scouts together?\u2019\u201d she asked mockingly. \u201cTalk to them about what is happening in Palestine and see how that conversation goes.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Highlighting the \u201cconnections\u201d between Islamophobia and Zionism, she suggested the audience \u201cknow who is on your side\u201d and \u201cknow your enemies.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI\u2019m not going to sugarcoat that,\u201d she said. \u201cThey are your enemies.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>She also accused \u201cZionist\u201d and \u201cforeign policy\u201d organizations of seeking to harm them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThere are organizations and infrastructures out there who are working to harm you. Make no mistake of it. They would sell you down the line if they could, and they very often do behind your back,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI mean the Zionist organizations,\u201d she clarified. \u201cI mean the foreign policy organizations who say they\u2019re not Zionist but want a two-state solution.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Only days after Billoo\u2019s remarks, Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) and Rep. Andre Carson (D-IN) <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/fb.watch\/9LkYsruDXk\/\"><span>spoke<\/span><\/a><span> at a CAIR virtual banquet as Rep.
