In the original image, Stallone is wearing a plain black t-shirt.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Omnicentrist\/status\/1481503438026735620\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Social media<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/krste.karanfilovski.3\/posts\/7818090451550187\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">users<\/a> recently shared a picture of Stallone purportedly wearing a shirt criticizing Biden, the president and Fauci, the White House chief medical adviser. The alleged writing on the t-shirt reads, \u201cThere are 4 useless things in this world. A woke person, COVID vaccine, Anthony Fauci &amp; Joe Biden.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A reverse image search found that the original image dates back to June 28, 2018 and can be found on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shutterstock.com\/editorial\/image-editorial\/sylvester-stallone-out-and-about-los-angeles-usa-28-jun-2018-9730718t\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Shutterstock<\/a>. The image shows Stallone walking around Los Angeles in a plain black t-shirt with no visible messaging. Other photos on Shutterstock that were taken the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shutterstock.com\/editorial\/image-editorial\/sylvester-stallone-9730718g\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">same day<\/a> also show him <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shutterstock.com\/editorial\/image-editorial\/sylvester-stallone-out-and-about-los-angeles-usa-28-jun-2018-9730718ad\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">walking around <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shutterstock.com\/editorial\/image-editorial\/sylvester-stallone-out-and-about-los-angeles-usa-28-jun-2018-9730718u\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the city<\/a> in the unadorned, black <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shutterstock.com\/editorial\/image-editorial\/sylvester-stallone-9730718j\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">t-shirt<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>COVID-19 first emerged in late 2019, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/emergencies\/diseases\/novel-coronavirus-2019\/interactive-timeline#event-0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">World Health Organization<\/a> (WHO). Biden announced his candidacy for president in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2019\/04\/25\/us\/politics\/joe-biden-2020-announcement.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">April 2019<\/a>, while Fauci was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/politics\/2020\/10\/28\/president-donald-trump-anthony-fauci-timeline-relationship-coronavirus-pandemic\/3718797001\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">appointed<\/a> to the White House Coronavirus Task Force in January 2020, more than a year after the image of Stallone was taken.
