There was a worry that the link between Epstein and Clinton and in particular the island could be used against Hillary, the source explained.<\/p>\n<p>Years prior to that exchange, just before the Alexanders left Epstein\u2019s employ, Indyke allegedly asked Miles Alexander to meet him on the nearby island of St. Thomas and bring the log books showing all the arrival and departure records for Little St. James. \u201cThese ledgers were handed to Indyke by Mr. Alexander, who never saw them again,\u201d The Daily Mail reported, asking. \u201cWhy did this happen? Presumably the records would have contained names of Epstein\u2019s VIP friends and girls by whom the tycoon liked to be surrounded. Wasn\u2019t that evidence? Where are the records now?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bill Clinton has denied ever being on Little St. James, but Epstein\u2019s \u201clittle black book\u201d of contacts \u201ccontained several email addresses and no fewer than 21 telephone numbers for Clinton,\u201d The Daily Mail noted. Additionally, between February 2002 and November 2003 Clinton\u2019s name as a passenger was on flight logs for Epstein\u2019s planes at least 26 times.<\/p>\n<p>In April 2011, on a phone call with one of her attorneys, Jack Scarola, Virginia Roberts (later Guiffre) stated that Bill Clinton had indeed been on the island<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Beast <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/jeffrey-epsteins-right-hand-mystery-men\">reported<\/a> in August 2020 that according to their source, Indyke was the \u201cin-house counsel to Epstein\u2019s enterprise. \u2026 He was involved in virtually all of the legal work Epstein had. He\u2019s probably the person with the most knowledge about Epstein\u2019s money, business relationships, assets, and legal affairs. \u2026 He\u2019s a mystery in part because he\u2019s been with Epstein so long. He\u2019s been Epstein\u2019s confidant and aide for decades.
