560,000 French people are set to lose access to their coronavirus passport over the third coronavirus jab requirement.<\/p>\n<p>The French National Assembly approved changes to the nation\u2019s coronavirus passport legislation to require booster shots of the vaccine to maintain the validity of their health pass.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>As a result of this new policy, an estimated 560,000 French people who are double vaccinated are set to have their passes deactivated,&nbsp;<em>Le Figaro<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lefigaro.fr\/conjoncture\/passe-sanitaire-560-000-personnes-pourraient-voir-leur-code-desactive-ce-samedi-20220114\">reported<\/a>.&nbsp;The new rules were voted in by France\u2019s National Assembly 185 to 69 votes on the&nbsp;15th of January.<\/p>\n<p>On top of the three jab requirement, the French Senate cleared the way on Sunday for the coronavirus pass to be transformed into a fully-fledged vaccine passport, with negative coronavirus screening&nbsp;tests no longer being valid to enter into public spaces such as cafes and restaurants, France24 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.france24.com\/en\/europe\/20220116-french-parliament-approves-more-restrictive-vaccine-pass\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Those aged 12-15 will be able to keep the previous health pass, which allows them to continue to attend public venues such as restaurants or the cinema with a negative test.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The&nbsp;deputies in the National Assembly however have acted against the wishes of the French Senate, as the Senate stated they would only back vaccine passes if more than 10,000 people were hospitalised nationally in France as a result of Covid \u2013 which has not occurred,&nbsp;BFMTV <a French President Emmanuel Macron <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2022\/01\/09\/it-worked-over-100000-french-protest-vax-pass-after-macron-vowed-to-piss-off-unvaxed\/\">vowed<\/a> to \u201cpiss off\u201d unvaccinated individuals \u2013 a statement resulting in a 100,000 strong protest in opposition of vaccine passports on the 8th of January 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The new and existing rules surrounding coronavirus and vaccine passports are said to be confusing with&nbsp;<em>Le Figaro<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lefigaro.fr\/actualite-france\/manque-d-information-ou-refus-pourquoi-des-milliers-de-francais-perdent-aujourd-hui-leur-passe-sanitaire-20220115\">reporting<\/a> that many French citizens have \u201cseveral misunderstandings about the validity conditions of their pass\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of the latest vote, large numbers of the French&nbsp;<span class=\"r-18u37iz\">Gilets Jaunes or<\/span> \u2018yellow vests\u2019 once again&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.france24.com\/en\/live-news\/20220115-protesters-hit-french-streets-to-fight-new-vaccine-pass\">took<\/a> to the streets protesting in opposition to vaccine passports.<\/p>\n<p>The supporters of the march in Paris gave the impression of having been from across the political spectrum with Palestinian and Antifa
