However, despite getting consent from the child\u2019s parents, the Austrian Directorate of Education said that the move was not legal,&nbsp;<em>Kronen Zeitung<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.krone.at\/2603111\">reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, Austrian media reported that the school had rejected Jason\u2019s medical exemption from wearing a mask in the school because it had been signed by a doctor in the city of Graz who was known to be critical of vaccinations.<\/p>\n<p>According to the local Styrian Directorate of Education, neither the teacher nor the principal of the school will be disciplined over the affair as the parents not only approved of the measure but were also on-site to supervise their child as he took the test.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<div id=\"attachment_19498522\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/media.breitbart.com\/media\/2022\/01\/2022-01-10FotodesbetroffenenSch\u00fclersw\u00e4hrenddesSachunterrichtstests_12-e1642199950897.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-19498522\" src=\"https:\/\/media.breitbart.com\/media\/2022\/01\/2022-01-10FotodesbetroffenenSch\u00fclersw\u00e4hrenddesSachunterrichtstests_12-e1642199950897-1024x771.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"990\" height=\"745\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Nine-year-old Austrian child Jason is refused entry to his school due to not wearing a mask and takes a test outside in freezing winter temperatures. Source: Austrian Freedom Party<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The parents took a photo of their child at a desk outside and published it on social media, drawing the attention of the populist Austrian <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fpoe-stmk.at\/blog\/detail\/riesenskandal-volksschueler-mit-maskenbefreiung-muss-sachunterrichtstest-im-freien-schreiben\">Freedom Party<\/a> (FP\u00d6).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis incident is a scandal of a special class! It cannot be that a student is treated like a leper despite the existence of a medical certificate.
