That choice matches the demands of the transgender ideology, which insists that an infant\u2019s future feelings about his or her sex are more important than the child\u2019s actual sex.<\/p>\n<p>The article is written by <a href=\"http:\/\/wcsj2017.org\/speaker\/azeen-ghorayshi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a graduate<\/a> of U.C. Berkeley and former writer for BuzzFeed News, where \u201cher beat eventually came to revolve primarily around issues of sex and gender.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the <em>New York Times<\/em>, her editors likely included the editors who approved a recent article which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/01\/08\/the-new-york-times-commands-this-man-is-a-woman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tried to portray<\/a> a successful male contestant on the<em> Jeopardy!<\/em> quiz show as a successful woman. In a prior career, the article\u2019s author studied&nbsp;biology and fruit flies, which also have a male-or-female nature.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The <em>New York Times<\/em> was once considered a careful reporter of scientific debate.<\/p>\n<p>But the author and editors echo assumptions from their university graduate social class that&nbsp;medical professionals can be trusted to act <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=jiyPP16-aXg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in the best interests<\/a> of their customers. For example, they quote one commercial surgeon saying that troubled people seeking surgery on their body should not have to go through psychological checks by other professionals:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m really not a believer in requiring that for people,\u201d said Dr. Alex Keuroghlian, a clinical psychiatrist at Fenway Health in Boston and the director of the Massachusetts General Hospital Psychiatry Gender Identity Program. \u201cBeing trans isn\u2019t a mental health problem,\u201d he later added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The journalists also repeat the tropes and cliches of the transgender ideology,&nbsp;including the revolutionary insistence that people have a stereotype-based \u201cgender identity\u201d that is more important than their male-of-female sex. \u201cAn upsurge in teenagers requesting hormones or surgeries to better align their bodies with their gender identities has ignited a debate among doctors over when to provide these treatments,\u201d says the article\u2019s first paragraph.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>New York Times\u2019<\/em>&nbsp;journalists also promote the claim that children should be allowed to amputate their sexual organs and render themselves infertile \u2014 long before they are legally allowed to drive a car or drink alcohol:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"css-axufdj evys1bk0\">And some doctors have also argued that waiting several years to initiate medical treatments could itself be harmful.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-axufdj evys1bk0\">\u201cForcing trans and gender diverse youth to go through an incongruent puberty can cause long-term trauma and physical harm,\u201d said Dr. AJ Eckert, medical director of Anchor Health Initiative\u2019s Gender and Life-Affirming Medicine Program in Stamford, Conn.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The report does little to distinguish among <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/01\/08\/the-new-york-times-commands-this-man-is-a-woman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the subgroups of people who turn to the ideology<\/a> for different reasons, such as distraught heterosexual teenage girls, uncomfortable gay teenagers, and friendship-seeking youths.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>The report downplays growing evidence of the human wreckages caused by the transgender ideology, for example, saying, \u201cin some cases, thought to be quite rare, transgender people later \u201cdetransition\u201d to the gender they were assigned at birth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But there is much-validated evidence of the physical and mental harm caused by the industry\u2019s sale of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/puberty-blockers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">drugs<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/hormones\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hormones<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/gender-reassignment-surgery\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">surgeries<\/a> to young people \u2014 and&nbsp; there is much video showing damaged young people who escape the transgender delusi0on:<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n[embedded content]\n[embedded content]\n[embedded content]\n[embedded content]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The New York Times posted a 1,900-word article on the risks of \u201ctransgender\u201d medical procedures for young people \u2014 without mentioning their innate and unchangeable male or female sex.
