The statement says:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote>\n<p>In August 2021, [Guatemalan migrant] Ms. C.M. attended a meeting between separated parents and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. \u201cSecretary Mayorkas told us that it was his job to support us after what we suffered. I feel betrayed and deeply sad now that they\u2019re fighting us in court. We want justice and to make sure this never happens again.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The migrants \u2014 including the Guatemalan migrant, C.M. \u2014 are portrayed by the far-left migration advocates and media as helpless victims of President Donald Trump\u2019s claimed cruelty.<\/p>\n<p>But C.M.\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/lccrsf.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/1-2021-06-10-COMPLAINT-FOR-DAMAGES-UNDER-THE-FEDERAL-TORT-CLAIMS-ACT.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">legal claim<\/a>&nbsp;strongly suggests she was an economic migrant who was using border loopholes \u2014 such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/flores\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Flores<\/em><\/a>&nbsp;catch-and-release loophole \u2014 to join the illegal-migrant father of her child who had already gotten to Oakland, California. The claim says, \u201cPlaintiff Erendira C. M. [now] resides in Oakland, California. \u2026&nbsp;While she was detained [by Trump\u2019s DHS] in Atlanta, Erendira wanted to call Yasmin\u2019s father, Erendira\u2019s long-term partner (and now husband), who lives in Oakland.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The meeting with Mayorkas took place in August. That was&nbsp;before a government official leaked the ACLU\u2019s demand for payouts of $450,000 per person to the migrants, and before Biden\u2019s poll-watching East Coast deputies <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2022\/01\/07\/radical-pro-migration-advocate-esther-olavarria-exits-white-house\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pushed out several<\/a> of Mayorkas\u2019s appointed allies because of Biden\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/epolls\/other\/president-biden-job-approval-immigration-7359.html#!\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">terrible ratings<\/a> on immigration policy.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The lawsuit does not explain why the woman and her child were given the huge prize of being allowed to live in the United States. But the lawyers still want the dollar payout, saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>\u201c<\/strong>I still live with the pain of my daughter being taken from me,\u201d said&nbsp;Erendira C.M., an indigenous Guatemalan mother whose daughter&nbsp;who was six at the time of separation, and one of the plaintiffs in the case. \u201cNo family should ever suffer the way we suffered.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Many deported migrants leave their children with illegal migrant relatives in the United States. That choice of voluntary separation gives their children a good chance to become American citizens and still allows for conversations vis cell phone. But the pro-migration lawyers are seeking to stigmatize and punish enforcement of border law and are eager to portray the migrants as deserving victims.<\/p>\n<p>Mayorkas is a Cuban-born, pro-migration zealot who has repeatedly touted the migrants\u2019 demand for compensation and relocation into the U.S. society. In March, as hundreds of thousands of migrants were heading towards U.S. borders, he told&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.msnbc.com\/morning-joe\/watch\/four-migrant-families-to-be-reunited-this-week-separated-under-trump-administration-111305797541\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">MSNBC<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Our highest priority is to reunite these [partly deported] families. As we so powerfully saw, these are young people in their formative years. These are sometimes children as young as 3 years old. We are addressing the needs and vulnerabilities, not only of the children, but of course, their mothers, their fathers, the people that make up these families. \u2026&nbsp;Three years of age at the time of separation! \u2014 it\u2019s extraordinarily cruel and inhumane.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In 2013, Mayorkas&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/fVpXrJBIHH8?t=108\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">declared<\/a>&nbsp; that Americans\u2019 homeland is \u201ca nation that always has been and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fVpXrJBIHH8&amp;t=108s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">forever will remain<\/a>&nbsp;a Nation of Immigrants.\u201d In April 2021, he said migrant-owned companies \u201care&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/05\/03\/dhs-majorkas-immigrants-are-backbone-us-economy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the backbone<\/a>&nbsp;of our communities \u2014 and of our country.\u201d In May 2021, he staged the&nbsp;televised <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/05\/06\/department-of-homeland-secuiritys-mayorkas-stages-open-borders-theater\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reunification of migrant families<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/06\/08\/mayorkas-invites-more-deported-migrants-back-to-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">distract media coverage<\/a> from his border chaos. In June,&nbsp;Mayorkas promised that he would&nbsp;put the dignity of foreign migrants \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/06\/09\/mayorkas-dignity-of-migrants-is-foremost-dhs-priority\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">foremost in our efforts<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mayorkas is not an academic. He has a budget of more than $50 billion and is using his bureaucratic and regulatory powers to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/extraction-migration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pull many economic migrants<\/a>&nbsp;through several small side doors in immigration law \u2014 even though Congress created those side doors for use by small numbers of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/asylum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">persecuted asylum seekers<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/tps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stranded travelers<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/03\/26\/lindsey-graham-joe-biden-is-complicit-with-child-traffickers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">victimized children<\/a>, and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/parole\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">injured voyagers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Mayorkas\u2019s pro-migration policies are causing the family separations he says he wants to fix, Rob Law, the director of regulatory affairs and policy at the Center for Immigration Studies, said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Well, I wouldn\u2019t call it irony \u2014 I\u2019d call it cruelty. This is intentionally being being done it and there\u2019s no remorse for it. The open-border policies of the Biden administration create the separation of families as the [migrants] seek out the economic opportunities of living in the United States \u2026<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Young men recognize the administration\u2019s half-hidden welcome for illegal foreign workers, and so they leave their families in their home countries to sneak into the United States, Law said:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The administration\u2019s policies created the separation. Instead of taking responsibility and tightening work enforcement to get the [foreign] worker out of the United States and back to his home country, they say, \u201cWell, we have sympathy for your scenario \u2014 which of course we created \u2014 and so now we\u2019re going to find a way to extract your family from their home country, and just reunite them with you,\u201d even though there\u2019s nothing nothing in our immigration laws that would make these people qualified for anything to be here lawfully.<\/p>\n<p>The policies of \u201cEveryone\u2019s an asylum seeker\u201d and \u201cEveryone should be let in\u201d and \u201cEveryone should be given a work permit\u201d entices aliens from around the world to get into serious debt in order to pay very dangerous cartels and smugglers to get them to the border. That guarantees some portion of that [migrant] population is going to be abused during the journey, whether it\u2019s physical, sexual, emotional. Nobody is going to get through that path to the southern border unscathed.&nbsp; Those are<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NeilMunroDC\/status\/1445814783278678024?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1445814783278678024%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com%2Fpolitics%2F2021%2F10%2F29%2Fdhs-mayorkas-tells-judge-to-re-cancel-remain-in-mexico%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> the human sacrifices<\/a> that the Biden administration says is the trade-off for [migrants] coming to the United States.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIt is callous; it\u2019s really heartless,\u201d Law said.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Hundreds of economic migrants are dying to reach Biden&#8217;s dangled offer of jobs and U.S. residency \u2014 despite laws that protect Americans.<br \/>Estb. journos can say little now, but eagerly blamed Trump for far fewer deaths.<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/VupQsbKlJV\">https:\/\/t.co\/VupQsbKlJV<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Neil Munro (@NeilMunroDC) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NeilMunroDC\/status\/1445814783278678024?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 6, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The administration and its pro-migration allies jointly put up a show of defending the border, even as they cut backdoors and loopholes in the border to let more than 100,000 migrants through each month, according to Law. For example, the demand for $450,000 payouts is just encouraging more home-country relatives of the lawsuit families to claim they also face extortion that can only be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/01\/12\/ap-aclus-push-for-450000-payouts-to-migrants-entices-more-crime\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">resolved by their transfer<\/a> into the United States, he said:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote>\n<p>So they\u2019re literally creating the scenario to encourage more migrants. It used to be you know Mexican day laborers would come for a season, and then they go back across the border back to Mexico and they would repeat this over years. But it was just single adult male workers. That was wrong, but it was limited. Now it\u2019s the worker plus the entire family, and that family just seems to keep getting larger and larger and larger. As you see with these reported payments, now it\u2019s cousins and third uncles and any other iteration of blood relative who is now claiming to be threatened because the bad guys \u2014 the cartels and the drug dealers \u2026 [The legal theatrics are] all just designed for the mass importation of aliens into the United States and the nullification of our immigration laws.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The administration\u2019s border theatrics are good enough to persuade their allies \u2014 even though Biden welcomed roughly 620,000 southern migrants from February to September, or more than twice the 250,000 allowed in Trump in 2020.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">There is this bizarre, vibes-based smear on the right that Biden has somehow &#8220;opened the border&#8221; when in fact he has the same major border policies in place that Trump did (and has not proposed anything remotely close to &#8220;open borders&#8221;)<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Catherine Rampell (@crampell) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/crampell\/status\/1482058526344232967?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 14, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Biden\u2019s deputies, led by Mayorkas, have also allowed in 50,000 Afghans, hundreds of thousands of visa workers, and roughly 500,000 \u201cgotaway\u201d illegals.<\/p>\n<p>Many&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/immigration-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">polls show<\/a>&nbsp;that Americans strongly oppose labor migration even as they also want to like immigrants and to allow some immigration. But the&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/duckduckgo.com\/?q=site%3Abreitbart.com+neil+munro+lankford+Immigration&amp;atb=v302-1__&amp;ia=web\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">bipartisan<\/a>&nbsp;federal government has exploited the public\u2019s decency since 1990 to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/extraction-migration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">extract tens of millions of migrants<\/a>&nbsp;from poor countries&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/12\/20\/census-biden-drives-up-foreign-born-population-across-swing-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">to boost U.S. businesses<\/a>&nbsp;as workers, consumers, and renters.<\/p>\n<p>That <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/12\/20\/washington-post-low-wage-employers-struggle-after-cheap-labor-bubble\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">economic strategy<\/a> is harmful to ordinary Americans: It cuts their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/03\/12\/bloomberg-opts-h1bs-take-two-three-new-tech-jobs-each-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">career<\/a>&nbsp;opportunities and their&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/04\/08\/elite-academics-hide-amnesty-wage-pain-americans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wages<\/a>&nbsp;while it also raises their&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/06\/16\/new-yorks-mayoral-rivals-vow-cheap-housing-plus-more-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">housing costs<\/a>. The extraction-migration policy also widens&nbsp;regional wealth&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/08\/13\/zuckerbergs-data-says-amnesty-gives-economic-windfall-coastal-democratic-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gaps<\/a>&nbsp;nationwide. For example, Rep. Kevin McCarthy\u2019s Bakersfield district in inland California has largely been ignored by job-creating investors. The investors can ignore Bakersfield and its job-seekers because they use the government-provided supply of migrants and foreign contract workers to staff new businesses near their coastal homes.<\/p>\n<p>The migration strategy also curbs Americans\u2019&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2020\/07\/11\/president-trump-wins-big-on-secret-meatpacking-robots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">productivity<\/a>, shrinks their political&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com+%22john+binder%22+%22demographic+change%22&amp;rlz=1C5CHFA_enUS946US946&amp;oq=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com+%22john+binder%22+%22demographic+change%22&amp;aqs=chrome..69i57j69i58.10228j0j4&amp;sourceid=chrome&amp;ie=UTF-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">clout<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/01\/survey-elite-imposed-migration-is-transforming-national-politics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">radicalizes<\/a>&nbsp;their democratic, compromise-promoting civic&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/search\/?s=%22white+supremacy%22#gsc.tab=0&amp;gsc.q=%22white%20supremacy%22&amp;gsc.page=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">culture<\/a>, and allows wealthy elites to ignore&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Diseases_of_despair\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">despairing Americans<\/a>&nbsp;at the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/03\/30\/harvard-harris-poll-5-in-6-americans-want-to-end-immigration-from-mexico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wide<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/01\/14\/poll-americans-want-companies-hire-americans-before-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">variety<\/a>&nbsp;of little-publicized&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/04\/13\/ipsos-poll-nearly-8-in-10-americans-want-immigration-moratorium-for-u-s\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">polls<\/a>&nbsp;do&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2019\/08\/05\/poll-swing-voters-hugely-oppose-2020-democrats-promising-more-immigration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">show<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2020\/04\/24\/poll-trumps-opponents-applaud-his-jobs-for-americans-immigration-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">deep<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2017\/01\/31\/poll-shows-public-support-trump-migration-poicy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">broad<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2020\/05\/28\/business-poll-backfires-shows-public-wants-less-migration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">opposition<\/a>&nbsp;to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/11\/16\/exit-polls-3-in-4-voters-want-less-immigration-during-and-after-pandemic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">labor migration<\/a>&nbsp;and the inflow of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2020\/08\/06\/ipsos-poll-public-opposes-migrant-workers-by-21\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">temporary<\/a>&nbsp;contract workers&nbsp;into jobs young U.S. graduates seek.<\/p>\n<p>This&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/03\/05\/survey-americans-underestimate-quiet-public-opposition-to-legal-migration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">opposition<\/a>&nbsp;is&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/12\/16\/pro-migration-groups-accelerate-hate-campaign-against-americans\/\" target=\"_blank\"
