He allegedly attacked her and stole her gun before she and her three young children got away as officers arrived.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Authorities <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wtvq.com\/domestic-case-turns-into-stand-off-apartment-fire\/\">say<\/a> Browning barricaded himself inside the apartment and began shooting out of the window, which led to police evacuating the building and neighboring apartments, according to WTVQ. An intense four-hour standoff with authorities ensued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPolice said Browning set fire to the upstairs part of the apartment in the early hours of Sunday morning,\u201d WKYT stated. \u201cPolice said that\u2019s when he left out the backdoor with the handgun on him.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_19499922\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Untitled-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-19499922\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Untitled-1.png\" alt=\"Photo of Logan Browning provided by Richmond Police Dept.\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Photo of Logan Browning provided by Richmond Police Dept.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Browning was taken into custody and faces a slew of charges, according to WTVQ:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote>\n<p>He has been charged with: Burglary 1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;degree,&nbsp;Robbery 1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;degree,&nbsp;Arson 1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;degree, Possession of a handgun by a convicted felon,&nbsp;Assault 2<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp;degree \u2013 domestic violence,&nbsp;Criminal mischief 1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;degree (8 counts),&nbsp;Wanton endangerment 1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;degree-police officer (9 counts); and Wanton endangerment 1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;degree (5 counts).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>His alleged actions have left five families without a residence, the <em>Richmond Register<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.richmondregister.com\/news\/community-rallies-to-help-families-who-lost-homes-in-fire\/article_4434b62f-1cca-524e-aac7-493098d5ab8c.html\">reported<\/a>. In the aftermath of tragedy, citizens in Richmond and Madison County are rallying to support the victims, which include several single mothers and their children.<\/p>\n<p>Brandi Burchett King, who knows one of the affected families, along with Jessica Blankenship and Greg Adams, put together the Champions for a Cause Concert and a silent auction to benefit the victims, the <em>Richmond Register<\/em> said.<\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThe whole reason behind it is to help these families who lost everything,\u201d King told the <em>Richmond Register<\/em>. \u201cIt\u2019s a simple fact that \u2014 especially in a low income community \u2014 it is hard to get back on your feet.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The concert&nbsp;will feature musical acts that were sought out by King and others. She noted that the response from the performers was overwhelming when she reached out to them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis shows there are good-hearted people that would help others at any given notice,\u201d King said. \u201cWith everything that is going on in the world, these people, at the drop of a hat, said they would give 30 minutes of their time.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>The silent auction and concert are set to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/1605815203111793\/?acontext=%7B%22ref%22%3A%2252%22%2C%22action_history%22%3A%22%5B%7B%5C%22surface%5C%22%3A%5C%22share_link%5C%22%2C%5C%22mechanism%5C%22%3A%5C%22share_link%5C%22%2C%5C%22extra_data%5C%22%3A%7B%5C%22invite_link_id%5C%22%3A280689814045270%7D%7D%5D%22%7D\">take<\/a> place Sunday at Champions Bar and Grill in Richmond from 1:00 p.m. \u2013 7:00 p.m. and will feature 12 performances by musicians, according to the event\u2019s Facebook page.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMusic touches peoples\u2019 souls,\u201d King told the <em>Richmond Register<\/em>. \u201cYou can have nothing, but you can still have music and that can make you feel so much better. With this event, people will be able to hear the music and do something to help those in their community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tickets for the event cost $10 each.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Richmond Register<\/em> reported:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>In addition to the artists who have donated their time and musical talents, King said the outpouring of donations from the business community in the city has been tremendous.<\/p>\n<p>Champions Bar and Grill is donating the facility\u2019s use for free and will have their employees helping also. Colonel Station Food Truck will also be set up to feed those in attendance with 15% of their profit donated back to the event.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span> \u201cI have spoken with all five of the ladies, and these girls are in tears and awe that Madison County is willing to help donate things, the facility, and the musicians who are performing,\u201d King said. \u201cThe need of this event is to get these families homes, the whole goal is finding permanent placement.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Kentucky community has come together to support five displaced families after a fire destroyed their apartment complex last weekend.
