(Photo by SAUL LOEB\/AFP via Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>When rolling out the orders, DHS Secretary Alejandro&nbsp;Mayorkas <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/29\/bidens-dhs-chief-sanctuary-country-orders-ensure-majority-of-illegal-aliens-not-deported\/\">said<\/a>&nbsp;the orders ensure that \u201cthe majority\u201d of illegal aliens in the U.S. \u201care not priorities for removal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In their letter, the Republicans note that the orders have resulted in a \u201cdramatic drawdown of interior enforcement\u201d at the same time as a \u201csecurity crisis along our southern border.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring Fiscal Year 2021, there were over 1.7 million encounters along the southwest land border\u2014the highest total ever recorded,\u201d they write. \u201cAnd this number only represents actual apprehensions. It does not account for the hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens who have evaded detection and made it into the interior of the U.S.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Republicans are DHS officials to provide all data related to illegal aliens deported from the U.S. as a result of interior immigration enforcement and a breakdown of all criminal illegal aliens arrested by ICE agents including their crimes and native countries.<\/p>\n<p>As Breitbart News reported, DHS has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/01\/06\/joe-biden-conceals-number-of-illegal-ali\">failed<\/a> to make public their annual report that details the number of illegal aliens arrested and deported by ICE agents throughout the prior 12 months. Former ICE officials have suggested that the agency is diligently trying to manipulate the data to make it harder to compare to past years of interior enforcement.<\/p>\n<p><em>John Binder is a reporter for Breitbart News.
