Rockefeller<\/a>, who the newspaper identifies as one of the purported buyers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a 1927 News Article Showing America was sold to 5 Billionaires,\u201d reads text included in the image. \u201cThe Rothschild\u2019s, Rockefellers, Dupont\u2019s, Harriman\u2019s and Warburg\u2019s.\u201d The <a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2020\/07\/26\/fact-check-lynn-forester-de-rothschild-satanic-painting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rothschilds<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/06\/07\/fact-check-laurance-rockefeller-related-john-podesta-chester-bennington\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rockefellers<\/a> have previously been the subject of conspiracy theories, some of which have been <a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/07\/21\/fact-check-bill-gates-grandson-co-founder-rockefeller-foundation-frederick-taylor-gates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">debunked<\/a> by <a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/05\/18\/fact-check-pope-francis-kissing-hands-rockefeller-rothschild\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Check Your Fact<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2020\/09\/24\/fact-check-usa-today-anthony-fauci-arrested\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Image Claims To Show USA Today Newspaper About Anthony Fauci Being Arrested For \u2018Seditious Conspiracy\u2019)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The newspaper article is not genuine. A reverse image search revealed the alleged paper from 1927 was created by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theonion.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Onion<\/a>, a popular satirical news website, in 2005.
