However, that is outside of the survey\u2019s +\/- 2.7 percent margin of error.<\/p>\n<p>Opinions are sharply divided on party lines, as 92 percent of Republicans say Biden is doing more to divide the country, compared to 84 percent of Democrats who say Biden is doing more to unite the country. (AP Photo\/Alex Brandon)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>However, critics say Biden essentially nullified all of those lofty ideals, particularly during his angry coronavirus speech in September 2021, where he scolded unvaccinated Americans, warning that his patience was \u201cwearing thin\u201d and claiming that their refusal \u201chas cost all of us.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe bottom line: We\u2019re going to protect vaccinated workers from unvaccinated co-workers,\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/speeches-remarks\/2021\/09\/09\/remarks-by-president-biden-on-fighting-the-covid-19-pandemic-3\/\">said<\/a> in the divisive speech, announcing vaccine mandates, which he previously promised not to pursue.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Notably, in light of these opinions from the American electorate, Biden\u2019s approval rating stands at just 33 percent.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A plurality of Americans feel as though President Biden is dividing the country, despite his original pledge to unify, a Quinnipiac University Poll released this week found.
