The United States is also keen to sell its sea-borne liquefied natural gas to European countries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The news generated backlash for the Biden administration after they canceled the Keystone XL Pipeline during Biden\u2019s first week in office, which killed the jobs of many of Americans.<\/p>\n<p>Donald Trump Jr. responded to the news by <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DonaldJTrumpJr\/status\/1358800196755484675\">writing<\/a> on Twitter: \u201cForeign pipelines that Trump shut down are back in business but American pipelines that employ American workers and create American energy independence are shut down and the jobs destroyed. The Democrats America last policy in action.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Biden Administration is not enforcing Congressional demands to sanction Nord Stream 2,\u201d former U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RichardGrenell\/status\/1358790691426476035\">said<\/a>. \u201cThis comes after Biden\u2019s silence on Merkel\u2019s refusal to back the US over Communist China \u2013 and Biden\u2019s reversing the 10,000 US troop withdrawal from Germany.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Bill Johnson (R-OH) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepBillJohnson\/status\/1358867085598871555\">responded<\/a> to the news by writing: \u201cForeign pipelines: Back in business American pipelines: Shutting down, workers losing jobs &amp; being sent home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Political strategist Arthur Schwartz <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ArthurSchwartz\/status\/1358792922959917060\">wrote<\/a>: \u201cThe Russian energy pipeline that Trump shut down is back in business under Biden.
