Meanwhile, restrictive policies originally grounded in public health concerns have not been rolled back, as indicated by sustained declines in issued visas for the United Kingdom and the perpetuation of Title 42 expulsions at the US border.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>But migration is great for migrants, poor countries, cheap-labor employers, and investors, says the report, which was supported by two major investment firms, SK Group in Korea and Zurich Insurance Group in Switzerland. It continues:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Economic migration often has considerable benefits for both origin and destination countries. It is \u201cthe most effective way to reduce poverty and share prosperity\u201d, according to a World Bank report \u2026<\/p>\n[\u2026]\n<p>Businesses in destination countries are at risk from a global worker deficit and demand-side shocks [loss of consumer sales] that could result from constrained migration. Migrant workers comprise an attractive consumer group that can contribute to developing domestic markets<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The report is part of a larger political campaign to build government and business support for pulling many millions of \u201cclimate migrants\u201d into the United States and Europe. Many U.S. advocacy groups are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/20\/gop-donors-economist-immigration-can-offset-foreign-trade-risks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">already pushing<\/a> for population transfers \u2014 often under the guise of \u201cclimate refugees\u201d \u2014 which could significantly increase revenues and profits for U.S. retailers and real-estate investors.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>But the report admits climate migrants are just economic migrants: \u201cClimate change is a key driver of migration. It displaces people directly because of natural disasters, and it can displace them indirectly by encouraging economic migration.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Be very afraid, peasants! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/FETwJ4FVac\">https:\/\/t.co\/FETwJ4FVac<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breitbart News (@BreitbartNews) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartNews\/status\/1481404276857618434?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 12, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Naturally, the globalist groups and their university-trained experts who wrote the report say that globalist groups and university-trained experts must manage the unwanted supply of migrant labor and consumers:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Better international collaboration is required to manage these flows to ensure that economic migrants are not exposed to exploitation and that involuntary migrants\u2014refugees\u2014crossing into other countries receive the assistance and shelter that they need.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The report also threatens governments, saying that the governments which fail to manage the flows of migrants may cause political instability;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Destination-country governments also face risks domestically from failing to address citizens\u2019 concerns with migration. At the time of writing, nearly 4,800 migrants were estimated to have perished or gone missing in 2021, most of them trying to reach Europe from Africa.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Nonetheless, there is a silver lining, according to the report: \u201cThe global community could \u2026 build goodwill across geopolitical divisions by strengthening collaboration mechanisms for refugee intake.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Many&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/immigration-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">polls show<\/a>&nbsp;that Americans strongly oppose labor migration even as they also want to like immigrants and to allow some immigration.<\/p>\n<p>But the&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/duckduckgo.com\/?q=site%3Abreitbart.com+neil+munro+lankford+Immigration&amp;atb=v302-1__&amp;ia=web\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">bipartisan<\/a>&nbsp;federal government has exploited the public\u2019s decency since 1990 to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/extraction-migration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">extract tens of millions of migrants<\/a>&nbsp;from poor countries&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/12\/20\/census-biden-drives-up-foreign-born-population-across-swing-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">to boost U.S. businesses<\/a>&nbsp;as workers, consumers, and renters.<\/p>\n<p>That&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/12\/20\/washington-post-low-wage-employers-struggle-after-cheap-labor-bubble\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">economic strategy<\/a>&nbsp;is harmful to ordinary Americans: It cuts their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/03\/12\/bloomberg-opts-h1bs-take-two-three-new-tech-jobs-each-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">career<\/a>&nbsp;opportunities and their&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/04\/08\/elite-academics-hide-amnesty-wage-pain-americans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wages<\/a>&nbsp;while it also raises their&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/06\/16\/new-yorks-mayoral-rivals-vow-cheap-housing-plus-more-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">housing costs<\/a>. target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">clout<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/01\/survey-elite-imposed-migration-is-transforming-national-politics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">radicalizes<\/a>&nbsp;their democratic, compromise-promoting civic&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/01\/14\/poll-americans-want-companies-hire-americans-before-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">variety<\/a>&nbsp;of little-publicized&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/04\/13\/ipsos-poll-nearly-8-in-10-americans-want-immigration-moratorium-for-u-s\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">polls<\/a>&nbsp;do&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2019\/08\/05\/poll-swing-voters-hugely-oppose-2020-democrats-promising-more-immigration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">show<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2020\/04\/24\/poll-trumps-opponents-applaud-his-jobs-for-americans-immigration-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\"
