There has been no official announcement regarding the release of a cheeseburger-flavored Oreo.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo\/?fbid=1143787876362471&amp;set=gm.3078365045759470\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">image<\/a> shows a red package with the words \u201cMcDonald\u2019s Cheeseburger Oreo\u201d across the front. The packaging also has the words \u201cLimited Edition\u201d on the top-right and a Disclaimer on the bottom that reads, \u201cContains no meat or cheese.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Check Your Fact found no evidence to suggest the alleged cheeseburger-flavored Oreo is real. Such a cookie does not appear on the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.oreo.com\/oreo-cookies\/oreo-flavors\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oreo Flavors<\/a>\u201d&nbsp;page of the company\u2019s website, nor on its official <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=mcdonald%27s%20cheeseburger%20(from%3Aoreo)&amp;src=typed_query&amp;f=top\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Twitter<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/page\/594295494373133\/search\/?q=mcdonald%27s%20cheeseburger\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Facebook<\/a> accounts.<\/p>\n<p>Corina DeFeo, a spokesperson for Oreo, confirmed to Check Your Fact in an email that \u201cthis is not launching nor is it in the pipeline.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Oreo and McDonald\u2019s collaborated to create an <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Oreo\/status\/1333891181617491972\/photo\/1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oreo-flavored milkshake<\/a>. The two also collaborated in 2015, creating an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mcdonalds.com\/us\/en-us\/product\/frappe-oreo-small.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oreo-flavored Frappe<\/a> for a limited time, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foodbeast.com\/news\/oreo-frap-mcd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FoodBeast<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2019\/04\/23\/fact-check-pickle-peeps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Are Pickle-Flavored Peeps Coming To A Store Near You?)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The handle \u201cadam.the.creator\u201d can be seen on the left-hand side of the packaging in the Facebook image. Check Your Fact traced the handle back to Brandfire co-founder <a href=\"https:\/\/brandfire.com\/our-team\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Adam Padilla<\/a>, who shared the image in May 2018 on his <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AdamPadilla\/status\/1001263154788294656\/photo\/1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Twitter page<\/a>. It appears to have been originally created for satirical purposes.<\/p>\n<p>Check Your Fact has previously debunked several other viral claims that alleged Padilla\u2019s digitally-created works were real products, such as the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/12\/20\/fact-check-my-first-hookah-toy-adam-padilla\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">My First Hookah<\/a>\u201d kids toy and the fabricated \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/01\/14\/fact-check-lego-capitol-invasion-toy-set-two-months-ago\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Capitol Invasion<\/a>\u201d Lego set.
