Authors Douglas Schoen, a pollster who worked for President Bill Clinton, and Andrew Stein, a former New York City Council president, point to Democrats\u2019&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/12\/31\/cook-political-report-republicans-2022-midterms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">impending disaster<\/a>&nbsp;in the 2022 midterms as an advantage for Clinton, allowing her to present herself as a \u201cchange candidate.\u201d&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/12\/04\/clinton-foundation-hillary-clinton-bill-clinton-decrease-donations-corruption\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Ethics Experts Alarmed By 93% Decrease In Clinton Foundation Donations Since $250 Million Peak In 2009 )<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeveral circumstances \u2014 President Biden\u2019s low approval rating, doubts over his capacity to run for re-election at 82, Vice President Kamala Harris\u2019s unpopularity, and the absence of another strong Democrat to lead the ticket in 2024 \u2014 have created a leadership vacuum in the party, which Mrs. Clinton viably could fill,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/hillary-clinton-2024-comeback-president-biden-harris-democrat-nominee-race-2022-midterm-loss-11641914951\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">they wrote<\/a>. \u201cShe is already in an advantageous position to become the 2024 Democratic nominee.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf Democrats lose control of Congress in 2022, Mrs. Clinton can use the party\u2019s loss as a basis to run for president again, enabling her to claim the title of \u2018change candidate,&#8217;\u201d they added.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7333614\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\">\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-7333614\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Hillary Clinton reads what would have been her 2016 Victory Speech. Clinton will be 77 by the time of the race, while Biden will be 82 and Trump will be 78.<\/p>\n<p>Fox News has held a number of segments discussing a potential Clinton run, which would be her third since her loss to former President Barack Obama in the 2008 Democratic primary.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-partner=\"tweetdeck\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\u201cSpeculation over a possible third White House bid by Hillary Clinton. Former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Public Affairs Monica Crowley <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/01\/12\/hillary-2024-with-biden-and-harris-incredibly-weak-clinton-sees-a-comeback\/?utm_source=twitter_sitebuttons&amp;utm_medium=site%20buttons&amp;utm_campaign=site%20buttons\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">said the rumors<\/a> are just another example of Clinton\u2019s \u201cinsatiable ambition.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fox News host and Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson also took shots at the prospect of Clinton making her way back into politics, going on a minutes-long, sarcastic riff touting Clinton\u2019s chances of winning.<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/townhall.com\/columnists\/davidkrayden\/2022\/01\/13\/its-hillary-for-president-time-of-year-again-n2601775\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">rumblings<\/a>&nbsp;come less than a month after Clinton <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/12\/30\/hillary-clinton-democrats-progressive-2022-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">publicly criticized<\/a> the left wing of her party in December, blaming so-called \u201cprogressives\u201d for stonewalling progress on the party\u2019s legislation in Congress.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think that it is a time for some careful thinking about what wins elections, and not just in deep-blue districts where a Democrat and a liberal Democrat, or so-called progressive Democrat, is going to win,\u201d Clinton said Dec. 30. \u201cI understand why people want to argue for their priorities.
