Brooks, the main suspect in last year\u2019s Waukesha,\u00a0Wisconsin, Christmas parade massacre is now facing 71 fresh charges after prosecutors filed an amended complaint on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Brooks Jr., 39, was facing already six counts of homicide in the deaths of those killed when he\u00a0smashed into the parade\u00a0in an SUV on Nov. 21, as Breitbart News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/crime\/2021\/11\/23\/sixth-victim-child-killed-in-waukesha-christmas-parade-massacre\/\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Most of the new charges against\u00a0Brooks\u00a0are for recklessly endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon, \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jsonline.com\/story\/news\/crime\/2022\/01\/12\/waukesha-parade-suspect-faces-dozens-new-counts-injured-victims-darrell-brooks\/9190850002\/\">according to<\/a> the\u00a0<em>Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The expanded charges include 61 counts of 1st degree recklessly endangering safety, six counts of hit-and-run involving death, two bail jumping felonies, and two counts of misdemeanor domestic abuse charges.<\/p>\n<p>In total, six people died in the incident on Nov. 21, including one young child.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<div id=\"attachment_19473970\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/media.breitbart.com\/media\/2022\/01\/GettyImages-1236720780.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-19473970\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/GettyImages-1236720780-1024x683-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"990\" height=\"660\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Police cordon off the crime scene on November 21, 2021 in Waukesha, Wisconsin, after an SUV drove through pedestrians at a holiday parade. (Jim Vondruska\/Getty Images)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Wilhelm Hospel, 81, Virginia Sorenson, 79; LeAnna Owen, 71; Tamara Durand, 52, Jane Kulich, 52, and Jackson Sparks, 8, were killed.<\/p>\n<p>The six first-degree intentional homicide charges Brooks faced each were paired with counts of hit-and-run involving death.
