They\u2019ve ended quarantine pay for those without vaccinations. IKEA, the company, is slashing sick pay for unvaccinated UK workers. If you are a smoker, insurance companies can charge you more, they can charge you a premium up to 50% and you have to put that on the form when you apply for insurance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt some point, don\u2019t we have to make people who are saying, \u2018I\u2019m willing to take the risk to be unvaccinated \u2014 take the risk for me and take the risk for everyone I come in contact with\u2019 \u2014 shouldn\u2019t they have to pay more into the system because they are collapsing our health system?\u201d Reid asked. \u201cThey\u2019re the ones in the ERs, they\u2019re taking it up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reid went on to claim that people having strokes or heart attacks were not being properly cared for because unvaccinated people were taking up the space in hospitals, asking once again, \u201cShouldn\u2019t they have to pay more?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Roy, who appeared on the show wearing a shirt emblazoned with the name \u201cFAUCI,\u201d responded by suggesting a separate triage list and care options for those who were not vaccinated.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">MSNBC medical contributor Dr. Lipi Roy treads just shy of saying unvaccinated people should be denied medical care, arguing they could be put on a separate \u201ctriage list\u201d that would result in them only getting \u201ca certain type of care\u201d though she\u2019s \u201cnot giving up on\u201d them yet. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/f2sX7hlX1S\">pic.twitter.com\/f2sX7hlX1S<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Curtis Houck (@CurtisHouck) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CurtisHouck\/status\/1481275868148289542?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 12, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, there are many possible interventions that we could impose on the people who continue to choose to be unvaccinated,\u201d Roy said. \u201cIncreasing insurance premiums, creating a list \u2014 a triage list so that when people come to the hospital maybe one of the first questions we ask is, \u2018Are you vaccinated?\u2019 And then that will direct them towards a certain type of care. Because we already do that.
