According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/playbook\">Politico<\/a>, <em>Red-Handed <\/em>will \u201cexpose bad actors on both ends of the political spectrum and their willingness to do China\u2019s bidding.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Given the bestselling author\u2019s investigative track record, the book\u2019s subjects may have cause for concern. Peter Schweizer\u2019s <em>Clinton Cash <\/em>sparked an FBI investigation into the Clinton Foundation. His last two books, <em>Profiles in Corruption<\/em> and <em>Secret Empires<\/em>, each hit #1 on the <em>New York Times<\/em> bestseller list and exposed how Hunter Biden and Joe Biden flew aboard Air Force Two in 2013 to China before Hunter\u2019s firm inked a $1.5 billion deal with a subsidiary of the Chinese government\u2019s Bank of China just 10 days after the trip.<\/p>\n<p>Schweizer, who is the president of the nonpartisan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/09\/28\/the-drill-down-podcast-with-peter-schweizer-marks-new-chapter-for-government-accountability-institute\/\">Government Accountability Institute<\/a> (GAI) and a senior contributor to Breitbart News, also authored <em>Throw Them All<\/em> <em>Out<\/em>, which, according to left-leaning <a href=\"https:\/\/slate.com\/news-and-politics\/2012\/03\/andrew-breitbart-1969-2012.html\">Slate<\/a>, was \u201cthe book that started the STOCK Act stampede.\u201d The bipartisan STOCK Act (Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge) banned insider trading by members of Congress and was signed into law by President Barack Obama on April 4, 2012. The legislation received overwhelming support from both parties. One of the main figures featured in Schweizer\u2019s <em>Throw Them All Out<\/em>, then-chairman of the House Financial Services Committee Spencer Bachus (R-AL),&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/big-government\/2013\/10\/01\/rep-spencer-bachus-won-t-seek-reelection\/\">announced<\/a>&nbsp;he would not seek reelection after the book\u2019s reporting.
