\u201cLet\u2019s Go Brandon\u201d-inspired cryptocurrency meme coin LGBcoin&nbsp;is not stopping the partnership.<\/p>\n<p>Brown is still signing with LGBcoin in a reported \u201ceight figure,\u201d two-year deal, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/lifestyle\/brandon-brown-lgbcoin-sponsorship-nascar-ban\">according<\/a> to Fox Business, though the driver has been barred from displaying the sponsor on his car.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe exact dollar amount of the deal was not announced, but LGBcoin said Brown is now a \u2018holder\u2019 of the currency and his spokesperson confirmed to Fox Business that he is being paid in \u2018both cash and coin,&#8217;\u201d Fox Business detailed, adding, \u201cBrown will participate in events, videos, conferences and other activities promoting the product through 2023.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m working to achieve my own American dream,\u201d the driver said in a press release. \u201cI\u2019m humbled and thankful for LGBcoin.io\u2019s reaffirmed support for my professional journey and their commitment to maintain a patriotic message.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/nascar-bans-brandon-browns-lets-go-brandon-sponsorship-over-politics\">highlighted<\/a>, NASCAR earlier this month rejected Brown\u2019s sponsorship with LGBcoin, due to the popular saying being a slight against President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<p data-el=\"text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/sports\/2022\/01\/04\/lgbcoin-lets-go-brandon-nascar-rejected\/\">According<\/a> to The Washington Post, a NASCAR official said the organization \u201cmade clear during a November discussion about the potential sponsorship that it would not allow any reference or imagery based on the chant.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-el=\"text\">The chant, notably, is a knock against Biden and the media. \u201cLet\u2019s go Brandon\u201d went viral last year after Brown won a race and a reporter claimed fans were cheering \u201cLet\u2019s go Brandon,\u201d though they were clearly chanting \u201cF*** Joe Biden.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-el=\"text\">\u201cNASCAR \u2026 decided against approving a sponsorship based on the anti-President Biden slogan \u2018Let\u2019s go, Brandon,\u2019 according to a NASCAR official with direct knowledge of the deliberations,\u201d the Post report said.<\/p>\n<p data-el=\"text\">The official told the Post that \u201cNASCAR\u2019s formal decision was not a reversal \u2026 but the governing body\u2019s first and final word on the matter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-el=\"text\">\u201cThe misunderstanding over the sponsorship thrust NASCAR into an unwelcome political spotlight for several days,\u201d the Post report said. \u201cWhile segments of stock-car racing fans relished the prospect of cheering a car emblazoned with an insult of the president, such messaging would have run counter to NASCAR\u2019s efforts to the sport from being used as a backdrop for partisan politics and divisive imagery.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-el=\"text\">Notably, NASCAR President Steve Phelps said the organization\u2019s association with the \u201cLet\u2019s go Brandon\u201d chant is \u201cunfortunate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-el=\"text\">Meanwhile, Brown\u2019s spokesman Maxwell Marcucci&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/sports\/nascar-walks-back-lets-go-brandon-sponsorship-approval-brandon-brown-spokesperson-says\">said<\/a> Brandonbilt Motorsports received explicit approval of the LGBcoin sponsorship on December 26.<\/p>\n<p data-el=\"text\">\u201cWe received written approval on the sponsors from a NASCAR Racing Operations official on December 26, 2021,\u201d Marcucci said in a statement. \u201cThe team subsequently moved forward with an announcement only after being provided with this approval.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-el=\"text\">\u201cThe sponsor approval was unambiguous \u2014 the first four words of the email from NASCAR state, \u2018The sponsors are approved,\u2019\u201d the statement read. \u201cThe only feedback offered was related to minor graphic design changes to ensure legibility on the track at 170mph.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-el=\"text\">NASCAR\u2019s position now is that Brown was given approval by an employee who did not have authorization to do
