He added that would be on the justices\u2019 \u201cconscience.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201c[H]opefully the plan is that the Supreme Court will recognize that the federal government, the Biden administration has the authority to require these vaccines,\u201d Becerra said. \u201cWe know they work. They save lives. We\u2019ve proven it. Here at HHS, with 88,000 workers, nearly 100% of our workers are vaccinated already.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Host Victor Blackwell asked, \u201cAnd if they don\u2019t?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd if they don\u2019t, well, I think that will be on their conscience,\u201d Becerra replied. \u201cI think there\u2019s some clear authority, legal authority, for us to move forward as we have proposed \u2014 both for the private sector workforce and for the health care workforce.
