She directed her post to the airline and said, noting the \u201ccowardly rhetoric on their crew luggage when they\u2019re in uniform.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are not the only passengers who noticed and were disgusted,\u201d Morrison wrote, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/01\/10\/american-airlines-apologizes-about-pilot-with-lets-go-brandon-sticker\/\">according<\/a> to the New York Post.<\/p>\n<p>The official Twitter account of AA responded, tweeting, \u201cThank you for bringing this to our attention and we want to get this to the right team. Please DM any additional details.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>The user went on to post what she claimed were direct messages with representatives for the airline, who assured her that her complaints had been forwarded to the proper authorities for internal review.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe take this very seriously and have sent this over to crew leadership,\u201d AA said in response to a direct message from the Twitter user who accused the pilot of displaying political propaganda supporting insurrection against the US government. \u201cThey will handle this internally after review. We assure you appropriate internal review will occur.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The airline\u2019s kowtow drew scorn on Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis pilot deserves a raise for dealing with entitled Karens while doing his job,\u201d tweeted Christina Pushaw, press secretary for Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. \u201cDon\u2019t fire your pilots for being conservative or criticizing Biden. We won\u2019t have any pilots left. Left or right?\u2019 So it\u2019s hard for a brand to want to attach to somebody who might be kind of divisive in their consumer base.
