Which goes back to the \u2018[good] cause\u2019 requirement of the insurance of the CCW. Having \u2018[good] cause\u2019 is too big of a gray area. That means it\u2019s up for interpretation of the person interviewing you and can lead to underlying bias.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Solomon ultimately summed up her view by stating that \u201cCalifornia has gun control by ZIP code.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>California abolished the open carry of loaded firearms in 1967 and in 2018, KRON-TV\u2019s&nbsp;Warren Olney <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfchronicle.com\/opinion\/openforum\/article\/Open-carry-was-legal-until-armed-Black-Panthers-12875998.php\">wrote<\/a> a <em>San Francisco Chronicle<\/em> op-ed claiming the move against open carry was in response to armed Black Panthers.<\/p>\n<p>On May 3, 1967, armed Black Panthers rallied on the steps of the California Capitol. During that rally, a Black Panther allegedly spoke to a television cameraman, decrying \u201cthe racist California Legislature\u201d for \u201ckeeping the black people disarmed and powerless.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>History.com <a href=\"https:\/\/www.history.com\/news\/black-panthers-gun-control-nra-support-mulford-act\">reports<\/a> that the Black Panthers indicated California gun laws played a role in \u201cthe subjugation of African-Americans.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_19429346\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/media.breitbart.com\/media\/2022\/01\/GettyImages-104473475.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-19429346\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/GettyImages-104473475-997x1024-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"990\" height=\"1017\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>A gun supporter holds a sign which reads, \u201cI\u2019ll Keep My Guns, Freedom and Money.
