It leaves no room for forgiveness and growth, in turn, leaving no opportunity for individuals who have made mistakes to learn from them. If you make a mistake or do something stupid then apologize, correct your mistake, and learn through personal growth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe world we live in thrives off drama and bringing others down. I refuse to be part of that,\u201d her post continued. \u201cIf my family or my friends make a mistake and apologize, I\u2019m going to listen, accept it, and expect them to learn from their mistake.&nbsp;Someone who is truly sorry should be forgiven \u2014 not continuously bashed. Your past mistakes do not define you; it is how you choose to move forward that does.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile our digital world connects us in a wonderful way, it also does the opposite. It gives many a platform to spew hate at others. It is easy to say something behind the safety of a screen \u2014 anyone can do it. But, those receiving the comments are people, too,\u201d Ashlyn wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know my brother,\u201d she said. \u201cHe is my best friend. And although what he said was completely unacceptable, I know that it did not come from a place of hate or malicious intent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ashlyn vouched for her brother\u2019s character and emphasized that criticism aimed at educating Wallen, enabling him to grown and learn from his mistake, should \u201ccontinue.\u201d Remarks made out of \u201cpure hatred\u201d from people who do not know her brother at all, she said, are \u201cunwarranted.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CK74VsygS9i\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"13\">\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Last week, TMZ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2021\/02\/02\/morgan-wallen-n-word-nashville-neighbors\/\">published<\/a> the video reportedly recorded by a neighbor showing Wallen using expletives and the N-word after a night out in Nashville with friends.<\/p>\n<p>TMZ reported:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p id=\"cb-1816e1e2d56dbc6a5ee4b065e9a550a0\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink canvas-text-block--default\" data-context=\"{&quot;section&quot;:&quot;permalink&quot;,&quot;name&quot;:&quot;text_block&quot;}\"><em>Morgan Wallen returned home Sunday from a rowdy night with friends, and as he walked up his driveway he hurled the n-word and other profanities, it\u2019s all on video and Wallen is remorseful.<\/em><\/p>\n<p id=\"cb-12ec34a31c4732d77c6f09d27e4fec94\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink canvas-text-block--default\" data-context=\"{&quot;section&quot;:&quot;permalink&quot;,&quot;name&quot;:&quot;text_block&quot;}\"><em>The country star and a group of buddies had just spent a night out in Nashville. He says \u2026 \u201ctake care of this p****-ass mother******\u201d \u2014 and then goes on to say, \u201ctake care of this p****-ass n*****\u201d \u2026 before finally heading in.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Wallen released a statement of apology and a promise to \u201cdo better.\u201d&nbsp;\u201cI\u2019m embarrassed and sorry,\u201d the \u201c7 &nbsp;Summers\u201d singer said. \u201cI used an unacceptable and inappropriate racial slur that I wish I could take back. There are no excuses to use this type of language, ever. I want to sincerely apologize for using the word. I promise to do better.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Following the video, Wallen\u2019s music was removed from numerous platforms.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/siriusxm-pandora-cmt-iheartradio-pull-morgan-wallen-music-following-n-word-video-recorded-by-neighbor\">The Daily Wire<\/a> reported:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>Wallen\u2019 music was&nbsp;pulled by&nbsp;Cumulus Media. The country music heavyweight sent a directive to all of its 400-plus stations to remove Wallen\u2019s songs from their playlists \u201ceffective immediately,\u201d Variety <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2021\/music\/news\/morgan-wallen-country-radio-removed-racial-slur-1234899010\/\">reported<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>iHeartRadio, Entercom, cable network CMT, satellite service SiriusXM, and streaming service Pandora have all also removed the 27-year-old\u2019s songs.
