Ron DeSantis <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/desantis-biden-fauci-hostile-to-those-focusing-on-treatments-in-addition-to-vaccines\">said<\/a> on Sunday the Biden administration is hostile toward his efforts to get treatment for coronavirus for Floridians, which the state has been offering in conjunction with vaccines for those who want them.<\/p>\n<p>DeSantis told radio personality Mark Levin on his show \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/media\/fox-news-flash\">Life, Liberty &amp; Levin<\/a>\u201d on Fox News on Sunday that the ongoing bad press and criticism from Washington is \u201cpolitical.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWe set up these centers this summer when we started to see the delta variant rear its head, and it worked,\u201d DeSantis said. \u201cWe were keeping tens of thousands of people out of the hospital, saved thousands of lives. No one disputes that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, as that was happening in September, the federal government decided to seize control of the monoclonal antibodies and cut supplies to Florida and Texas, mainly,\u201d DeSantis said.<\/p>\n<p>DeSantis said Biden\u2019s Department of Health and Human Services balked at providing more treatment options to the state.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cOh, Florida, you use too much of it,\u201d DeSantis said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, part of the reason we use more than other states is because we\u2019ve actually embraced treatment,\u201d DeSantis said. \u201cMost of these other governors and the people like Fauci and the federal leadership, they basically say get a shot, wear a mask, and they never talk about treatment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo to just not deal with treatment and be hostile to people like me who are, it shows so much of this is about a political agenda,\u201d DeSantis said. \u201cIt\u2019s about partisanship, and it\u2019s not about the best interests of the American people, when you talk about how these folks are acting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>DeSantis told Levin he thinks the pushback from the left-wing press means he\u2019s doing a good job.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf the corporate press nationally isn\u2019t attacking me, then I\u2019m probably not doing my job,\u201d DeSantis said.<\/p>\n<p><em>Follow Penny Starr on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PennyStarrDC\">Twitter<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Republican Florida Gov.
