This has been THE question for two years and CDC is still hiding this data &amp; dodging the question. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/F7wYJYTHUs\">pic.twitter.com\/F7wYJYTHUs<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Clay Travis (@ClayTravis) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ClayTravis\/status\/1480232286230659075?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 9, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo you know how many of the 836,000 deaths in the U.S. linked to COVID are&nbsp;<strong><em>from<\/em><\/strong> COVID or how many are&nbsp;<strong><em>with<\/em><\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>COVID but they had other comorbidities? Do you have that breakdown?\u201d Baier asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes, of course with Omicron we\u2019re following that very carefully,\u201d Walensky replied, but gave no indication that those numbers were available for the totals prior to the recent Omicron-driven surge in infections. \u201cOur death registry, of course, takes a few weeks to \u2014 and is a \u2014 takes a few weeks to collect, and of course, Omicron has just been with us for a few weeks, but those data will be forthcoming.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/drdavidsamadi\/status\/1480213141548109824\">Dr. David Samadi<\/a> said that making that differentiation and looking at those numbers would be an important step in determining the true impact of the pandemic. \u201cThe CDC will begin to provide data on how many of the 836,000 deaths in the U.S. linked to Covid are FROM Covid and how many are WITH Covid. I\u2019ve been encouraging this from day one as it would have changed the entire perspective on the response. Glad it\u2019s finally happening,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Just over a week ago, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/fauci-now-says-hospitals-are-overcounting-covid-19-cases-in-children-because-they-automatically-get-tested-sound-familiar\">Dr. Anthony Fauci<\/a> conceded that officials might be over-counting the number of COVID cases \u2014 particularly with regard to pediatric cases \u2014 in hospitals.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Incredible. Fauci admits that many of the children (there\u2019s data showing it\u2019s a majority) hospitalized *with* COVID are there for reasons *other than* the COVID.<\/p>\n<p>People have been pointing this out for months, but were drowned out by the panicked alarmists. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/2Iw24GifJq\">pic.twitter.com\/2Iw24GifJq<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Dylan Housman (@Dylan_Housman) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Dylan_Housman\/status\/1476728086737604609?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 31, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Fauci explained that because every child who was taken to the hospital received a test for COVID-19, even those who were asymptomatic but tested positive were listed as a COVID-19 case.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you look at the children who are hospitalized, many of them are hospitalized with COVID as opposed to because of COVID,\u201d Fauci said. \u201cAnd what we mean by that \u2014 if a child goes in the hospital, they automatically get tested for COVID. And they get counted as a COVID-hospitalized individual. When in fact, they may go in for a broken leg or appendicitis or something like that.
