What\u2019s more, The New York Post <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2021\/02\/06\/intruder-interrupts-suzanne-somers-livestream-at-home\/?_ga=2.42893029.1594545946.1612706747-540831960.1612706747\">reported<\/a> the man was \u201cnearly naked.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But the 74-year-old actress is one cool customer. She calmly told the intruder \u201cyou don\u2019t scare me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Somers was just beginning a live demonstration for her organic makeup line, filming outside her Palm Springs property.&nbsp;In a clip of the incident, Somers turns and asks her producer husband, Alan Hamel, \u201cIs somebody here?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hamel says it\u2019s just a frog, but Somers says, \u201cI just heard a person.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Somers told the Post she was expecting dinner guests on Friday night after the Facebook Live session and assumed they\u2019d arrived early.<\/p>\n<p>In the video, she says, \u201cAre you here?\u201d A man who never appears in the shot answers, saying, \u201cI\u2019m here.\u201d Somers calmly says, \u201cWell, c\u2019mere.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Then she realizes it\u2019s not her friends.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWho are you?\u201d Somers says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m Eric Carpenter,\u201d the man says. \u201cHave you heard of me?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo,\u201d Somers answers, then asks, \u201cHow did you get here?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The man, who sounds as if he\u2019s slurring his words, says, \u201ca&nbsp;friend led me up this hill, and then I came down.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also tells her, \u201cI was slightly terrified over there for a second,\u201d and when Somers asks why, he says, \u201cthere were ghosts following me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/youtube.com\/watch?v=70tTIKXVTao&#038;feature=oembed\">https:\/\/youtube.com\/watch?v=70tTIKXVTao&amp;feature=oembed<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>Somers calmly says, \u201cOh, OK, you shouldn\u2019t be here. But anyway, you don\u2019t scare me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The actress, who has been turned to her left, then looks into the camera with wide eyes before turning back.<\/p>\n<p>The man then says, \u201cI\u2019ve seen pictures of this house before\u2026I didn\u2019t realize this was a property\u2026 I apologize.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When Somers says, \u201cI am doing a show here,\u201d the man tells her, \u201cI do a show everywhere, all day long.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Somers then tells him, \u201cI\u2019m not used to people being on our property. So can you go home? You seem like a very nice person, but you shouldn\u2019t be here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She then turns again to the camera and makes a face like, \u201cCan you believe this?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She finally has her husband and others help escort the intruder off the property, ending the harrowing visit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m going to call the police now.
