I was very surprised,\u201d Jocelyn told the outlet.<\/p>\n<p>A photo <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DBivTV\/status\/1479829894980898821\">showed<\/a>&nbsp;the young woman and her family enjoying the event with a huge sign that read \u201cHappy 14th Birthday Jocelyn\u201d in the background:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"und\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/DXUcVbzR0z\">https:\/\/t.co\/DXUcVbzR0z<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Dennis Biviano (@DBivTV) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DBivTV\/status\/1479829894980898821?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 8, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She is an eighth grader who also a dances and cheerleads for the St. Paul Rams.<\/p>\n<p>But a few months ago, she experienced difficulty breathing while she performed at a football game.<\/p>\n<p>Once she went to the Children\u2019s Hospital, her loved ones were told she had been diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Leukemia Lymphoma.<\/p>\n<p>Leukemia is a broad term for cancers that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cancer.gov\/types\/leukemia\">affect<\/a> a person\u2019s blood cells. The kind of leukemia depends on the type of blood cell that turns into cancer and if it grows fast or slow, according to the National Cancer Institute\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cIt was a rough 30 to 60 days from a treatment standpoint. Once she started to regain her strength you can tell she\u2019s getting her energy back. Ever since she was diagnosed, the support from the community has just been completely overwhelming,\u201d Jocelyn\u2019s father, Charlie Green, noted.<\/p>\n<p>She has since endured <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mayoclinic.org\/tests-procedures\/chemotherapy\/about\/pac-20385033\">chemo treatments<\/a> and spent 12 days in the ICU.
