Vaccinated Americans are more concerned about the coronavirus threat than the unvaccinated, and those who have gotten COVID-19 vaccine booster shots are most concerned.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Among unvaccinated Americans, only 36 percent are concerned about coronavirus, including 13 percent who are very concerned. Vaccinated respondents are much more wary, with 75 percent saying they are worried about coronavirus, including 41 percent who are very concerned.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Eighty-one percent of those who have gotten the booster say they are still concerned about the coronavirus threat, \u201cincluding 48 percent who are very concerned.\u201d The survey was conducted with 1,000 American adults on January 2-3 during an ongoing spike in omicron variant cases nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>Overall,&nbsp;64 percent of respondents say they are \u201cpersonally concerned about the coronavirus threat,\u201d including 33 percent who are \u201cvery concerned.\u201d In contrast, 33 percent are not worried, including 12 percent who are \u201cnot at all concerned about COVID-19.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Unsurprisingly, more Democrats (52 percent) than Republicans (22 percent) and unaffiliated voters&nbsp; (26 percent) are \u201cvery concerned\u201d about the virus. Democrats are also more likely to be vaccinated and to have received a booster shot.<br \/>The poll, which has a margin of sampling error is&nbsp;+\/- 3 percentage points with a 95 percent level of confidence, found that 74 percent of Americans say they are already vaccinated and two-thirds of those say they have received booster shots. Overall, 49 percent of U.S. adults say they are both vaccinated and boosted, while 22 percent say they have not gotten the jab.<\/p>\n<div class=\"newsletter-widget row justify-content-center my-5\">\n<div class=\"col-10 col-sm-8 col-md-10 col-lg-8 col-xl-7 p-4 text-center\">\n<p>Despite higher total vaccination rates, another poll found that most Americans support a bill in Congress aimed at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/01\/07\/poll-majority-support-bill-block-bidens-vaccine-mandates\/\">blocking<\/a> President Joe Biden\u2019s vaccine mandate for American workers. Roughly 51 percent&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thetrafalgargroup.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/COSA-National-CongressVax-Poll-Report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">said<\/a>&nbsp;they support the bill, followed by 40.6 percent who said they do not and 8.3 percent who remain unsure.
