The <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NLRB?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@NLRB<\/a> will hold a trial to prosecute NYT for violating labor law.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 New York Times Tech Guild (@NYTGuildTech) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NYTGuildTech\/status\/1478789680518807556?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 5, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>An initial complaint from the Communications Workers of America\u2019s NewsGuild was made with the NLRB in June 2021.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, <em>Times<\/em> Vice President of Communications&nbsp;Danielle Rhoades Ha said the media corporation \u201cstrongly disagree with the union\u2019s allegations about the supervisory status of certain technology employees and welcome the opportunity to explain our position to the board.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The latest complaint against the <em>Times<\/em> will be used at a March trial.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the union-busting accusations, the <em>New York Times<\/em> has proclaimed for decades to back efforts by union workers. In September 2021, for instance, the <em>Times<\/em> ran <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/09\/05\/opinion\/labor-day-union.html\">a piece<\/a> that chronicled the struggle that a number of working and middle class Americans face when trying to organize a union at their workplaces.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>John Binder is a reporter for Breitbart News.
