But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Reports indicate the Democrats are focusing on the words \u201cinsurrection or rebellion,\u201d tied to January 6, to disqualify Trump from seeking office.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">And there it is\u2026 This is what it\u2019s always been about folks. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/6J4wehKcgv\">https:\/\/t.co\/6J4wehKcgv<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Donald Trump Jr. (@DonaldJTrumpJr) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DonaldJTrumpJr\/status\/1479140997812703235?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 6, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Harvard Law School constitutional expert&nbsp;Laurence Tribe told the <em>Hill<\/em> a lawsuit seeking to ban Trump from ballots would&nbsp;\u201cstand a good chance of success,\u201d he said. The <em>Hill<\/em> reported:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>According to Tribe, if lawsuits arose over Trump\u2019s eligibility in 2024, the outcome of that litigation would likely hinge on whether a neutral fact-finder setup by Congress had previously determined that Trump\u2019s role in the Jan. 6 attack triggered Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.<\/p>\n<p>Whether a push for Trump\u2019s disqualification under the 14th Amendment gains wider support or more legislative traction may turn on what the Jan. 6 House panel ultimately reveals about his role.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>However, such disqualification would demand evidence that Trump committed&nbsp;\u201cinsurrection or rebellion.\u201d Thus far, Democrats have failed to produce qualifying evidence.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Joe Biden and the Democrats are really afraid of Donald Trump coming back.
