He was sentenced to 4 1\/2 years in prison. Porter Sr. died in 2004 after being shot in a South Seattle bar. The Rocket\u2019s star was 4 years old when his father was killed.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\u201cKevin Porter Jr., like his dad, pulled that trigger right at the right time\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I can\u2019t believe this was actually said on the Wizards broadcast.. Nah we ain\u2019t going for this! Sorry but this ain\u2019t going to fly! How insensitive can you be to say something like this,\u201d James posted to Twitter Thursday morning. \u201cBeat it man! I pray for you but there\u2019s no place in our beautiful game for you!\u201d<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Oh he thought this was cool huh!!?? Nah we ain\u2019t going for this! Kevin Porter played in the NBA until the 1982-1983 season after being drafted by the Baltimore Bullets in 1972.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Consor confirmed this to be the case on Thursday, apologizing to Kevin Porter Jr. for the mistake.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlease allow me to take this opportunity to sincerely apologize to Ken Porter Jr., his family and the Rockets organization for the comments I made during last night\u2019s game,\u201d Consor wrote in a statement. \u201cI mistakenly thought Kevin was the son of former Washington player Kevin Porter and was unaware that the words I choose to describe the game-winning shot would be in any way hurtful or insensitive.
