The caller complained there was no staff available to take care of their relative, Everything Lubbock <a href=\"https:\/\/www.everythinglubbock.com\/news\/local-news\/littlefield-employees-could-not-do-lift-assists-at-nursing-home-due-to-staff-shortages-police-report-says\/\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Police and an EMS unit arrived at the nursing home where a volunteer doctor explained there \u201cwas an apparent walk-out of employees.\u201d He said there was one certified nurse\u2019s assistant who worked through the night and did not leave her post.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Police entered the facility to investigate and found three residents in wheelchairs near the front station. They noted no signs of mistreatment, according to the regional news outlet.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the workers who remained to care for the residents did not have the qualifications to provide necessary tasks, KCBD NBC11 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcbd.com\/2022\/01\/05\/apparent-walk-out-prompts-investigation-into-littlefield-nursing-home\/\">reported<\/a>.
