You know, the black president. Like, he was his vice president, maybe that\u2019s part of it. I don\u2019t know what it is,\u201d Reid said.<\/p>\n<p>Reid also claimed Biden is a moderate, referring to the president as an \u201cordinary Democrat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut this is the like the most sort of norm, core Democrat ever. He\u2019s a moderate, you know, sort of ordinary Democrat. There\u2019s nothing outrageous about him, but they have cast him as some sort of demonic character,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>The claim that Republicans oppose Biden due to racism because of his association with Obama is one of several comments about race made by Reid in recent weeks.<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Wire recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/msnbcs-joy-reid-says-conservatives-are-a-party-of-selfish-people-who-cannot-play-well-with-others\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> about a monologue by Reid last week that referred to Republicans as \u201ca party of selfish people who cannot play well with others.\u201d The article noted Reid stating:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThey\u2019re white, so-called Christian conservatives who feel like this country was built by them, for them. Their party, the Republicans,\u201d is merely \u201ca party of selfish people who cannot play well with others,\u201d said Reid in her opening monologue. \u201cThey even have their own cable networks.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>She then compared Christian conservatives to a classic \u201cStar Trek\u201d character named Charlie, whom she described as an \u201cannoying alien&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.merriam-webster.com\/dictionary\/incel\">incel<\/a>&nbsp;who destroys everything around him when he doesn\u2019t get his way.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Reid claimed that white, Christian conservatives wrongly believe the country is being taken away from them. \u201cA certain percentage of Americans feel like the country used to focus on them and fixate on them, and they were the main character. And now that they feel that they\u2019re not the main character, and they don\u2019t always win, and they don\u2019t get to do what they want, and they don\u2019t get to have their way, it\u2019s all an outrage. It\u2019s all a crime. Everything must be overturned. so it goes back to the way they thought it should be,\u201d she said in a stream-of-consciousness.<\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">This is such a solid point by <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RadioFreeTom?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@RadioFreeTom<\/a>. We are a bored country full of people seeking some form of meaning, which folks used to get from religion or from the simple joy of doing the right thing and contributing to the community. And I don\u2019t want to get vaccinated either. People get sick from me? Oh well, not my problem. Joe Rogan said it was fine,\u201d Reid said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy kids aren\u2019t going to mask up to protect those other kids.
