And I don\u2019t think it says anywhere, \u2018strictly on the field,\u2019 although I do think he hurt his team on the field by the way he acted off the field. They\u2019re gonna get the No. 1 seed anyway, but what if the difference had come down to the Chiefs game, where he lied about being vaccinated, and they ended up getting beat?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, Rodgers blasted Arkush, calling him an \u201cabsolute bum\u201d for his remarks.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI think he\u2019s a bum.&nbsp;I think he\u2019s an absolute bum,\u201d Rodgers <a href=\"https:\/\/profootballtalk.nbcsports.com\/2022\/01\/05\/aaron-rodgers-on-hub-arkush-i-think-hes-an-absolute-bum\/\">said<\/a>. \u201cHe doesn\u2019t know me. I don\u2019t know who he is. No one knew who he was, probably, until yesterday\u2019s comments. And I listened to the comments. I\u2019ve never met him. I\u2019ve never had lunch with him. I\u2019ve never had an interview with him. His problem is I\u2019m not vaccinated. So if he wants to go on a crusade and collude and come up with an extra letter to put on the award just for this season and make it the \u2018Most Valuable Vaccinated Player,\u2019 then he should do that.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut he\u2019s a bum. And I\u2019m not going to waste any time worrying about that stuff. He has no idea who I am. He\u2019s never talked to me in his life. But it\u2019s unfortunate that those sentiments \u2014 it\u2019s surprising that he would even say that, to be honest. But I knew this was possible. I talked about it on McAfee weeks ago. His real mistake was thinking it\u2019s okay to vote against Rodgers because of his vaccination status.<\/p>\n<p>The award is for the player who was the most valuable to his team on the field of play.
