We are pulling in new supporters and new sources of funding,\u201d Masters <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/bgmasters\/status\/1478121046758739968?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">said<\/a> in a statement. \u201cThis is going to be one of the most expensive races in the country, and Republicans can\u2019t afford to put forward someone who refuses to do the work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Masters <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/12\/27\/blake-masters-arizona-nft-peter-thiel\/\"><u>announced<\/u><\/a>&nbsp;last week that he would be partially financing his campaign through the sale of NFTs, unique packets of data that are stored on the blockchain, a decentralized public ledger distributed across multiple servers, and often corresponding to media such as a piece of digital art. The NFTs included a signed hardcover copy of \u201cZero to One,\u201d a book he co-authored with tech billionaire Peter Thiel, along with digital cover art of the book.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_6913355\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\">\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-6913355\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Retired NASA astronaut and Navy Capt. (Photo by Chip Somodevilla\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The Senate candidate minted 99 NFTS in total and sold them each for $5,800, the maximum individual campaign contribution limit, according to his website, with the proceeds going towards his senate race. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/17\/arizona-blake-masters-big-tech-google-facebook\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Arizona Senate Candidate Blake Masters Plans To Tackle Big Tech\u2019s \u2018Predatory\u2019 Business Practices)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Masters\u2019 campaign announced late last week that all of the NFTs had been sold within 36 hours of their release, raising over $550,000 for the campaign.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am outraising everyone else, I will continue to do so, and I will have the resources to beat Mark Kelly in November,\u201d Masters said.<\/p>\n<p>Masters is currently competing in a crowded Republican <a href=\"https:\/\/ballotpedia.org\/United_States_Senate_election_in_Arizona,_2022\"><u>primary<\/u><\/a>&nbsp;race, which includes Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, for the chance to unseat&nbsp;incumbent Democratic Sen.
