I know it,\u201d he said. \u201cBut repeating myself what Dr. Fauci said it very clearly: Booster shots work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden warned the unvaccinated that they risked death by resisting the shots.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019ll experience severe illness in many cases if you get COVID-19 if you\u2019re not unvaccinated. Some will die, needlessly die,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Biden urged parents to get their children ages five and over to get vaccinated, calling it the \u201cbest way to protect them\u201d in schools.<\/p>\n<p>He also said that children should continue social distancing in classrooms and busses and wearing masks so that schools could stay open.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnvaccinated kids are at risk,\u201d he said previewing guidance from the CDC that would soon allow some children to get booster shots.<\/p>\n<p>He repeated that it was dangerous for children to be spending time with unvaccinated people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor parents with kids too young to be vaccinated, surround your kids with people who are vaccinated and make sure you\u2019re masking in public,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>President Joe Biden mistakenly said there was reason for hope in the year \u201c2020\u201d in the ongoing fight against the coronavirus.
