Adam Schiff (D-CA) said, \u201cHe knows a great deal that should be shared with the committee and the American people about planning before the 6th, about conversations or text messages on the sixth, about things after the sixth of January.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Hayes said, \u201cThere\u2019s a big preamble in the letter, saying look, we respect the First Amendment and journalism and your right to free expression, we\u2019re not after you for any of that. I\u2019m glad you said that, but one could argue you are slicing the salami pretty thin.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>He added, \u201cThere is an argument to be made that this is the stuff that robust free press should be able to protect from the prying eyes of government.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Schiff said, \u201cFirst of all, we\u2019re asking him to come in voluntarily.
