The poll also showed that 24 percent of the respondents were undecided.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>However, last November, an&nbsp;unnamed Republican had an eight-point lead against the&nbsp;unnamed Democrat.&nbsp;Republicans led 46 percent to 38 percent. At the time, only 16 percent of the respondents were undecided.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The USA Today\/Suffolk <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/politics\/2022\/01\/04\/gop-midterm-red-flag-bidens-leadership-challenge-usat-suffolk-poll\/9078226002\/\">poll<\/a> was taken from December 27 to 30 on landlines and cellphones. There were 1,000 registered voters asked to answer the questions, with a reported&nbsp;margin of error of +\/- 3.1 percent.<\/p>\n<p>While this is a significant shift from November, Republicans have still recently dominated in the polls over the last few months leading into 2022, as&nbsp;House Democrats have continuously passed&nbsp;partisan&nbsp;agenda items. Some of those bills were the so-called&nbsp;bipartisan infrastructure bill and the&nbsp;Build Back Better Act&nbsp;(BBB), better known as the&nbsp;reconciliation bill.<\/p>\n<p>Numerous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/12\/21\/poll-voters-favor-republicans-to-control-senate-house-in-2022\/\">polls<\/a> have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/midterm-election\/2021\/12\/18\/poll-republicans-show-six-point-lead-over-democrats-in-2022-generic-ballot\/\">shown<\/a>&nbsp;the Republicans <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/24\/poll-republicans-leads-democrats-in-generic-congressional-ballot-heading-into-2022\/\">beating<\/a> Democrats in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/10\/poll-republicans-edge-out-democrats-in-generic-ballot-as-midterms-gear-up\/\">generic<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/midterm-election\/2021\/10\/27\/new-hampshire-poll-generic-republican-leads-one-congressional-district-virtual-tie-democrat-other\/\">ballot<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/03\/poll-republicans-lead-democrats-in-generic-congressional-race\/\">when<\/a> respondents say who they would elect to represent them after the midterms. One generic poll from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/midterm-election\/2021\/11\/07\/realclearpolitics-republicans-lead-generic-ballot-first-time-since-2014\/\">RealClearPolitics<\/a>&nbsp;in November and another poll from&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/10\/05\/quinnipiac-poll-republicans-lead-democrats-in-generic-ballot-for-midterms-for-first-time-since-2014\/\">Quinnipiac University<\/a>&nbsp;in October showed Republicans leading for the first time since 2014.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the polls, there have already been&nbsp;24 House Democrats who have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/01\/03\/pelosi-majority-crumbles-longtime-democrat-rep-bobby-rush-not-seek-reelection\/\">announced<\/a> they plan to leave the House after their current terms, whether it be to retire from the public eye or run for a different office.
